For some time now I have been wondering if this is possible. Like an improved game, with better graphics (unreal engine 5) , more mechanics, new modes, etc.
I think it would be awesome. What do you think, is Illfonic willing to do this, or not ? Does it have the rights ? Does it have the resources ? Could this be part of a business plan for the company?

In my eyes illfonic already has two strikes
I’m not buying another game from them unless this game gets the attention it deserves
The game would be the same as this one with some better graphics probably. Just new bugs that won’t get fixed. Predator should go to a different company that will put more effort into it it has so much potential and it’s wasted with illfonic.
Maybe even a new developer for the sequel?

Hell I’d rather EA be the ones to make a new one than Illfonic. At least they’re upfront with their scummy practices.
I’ve speculated they are working on an AVP title given they acquired the AVP Predators and have access to the better part of the Predator characters and weapons.
They can mention the Predalien over on the blog, they got Wolf, we will be getting Celtic, they wanted to keep Scar’s mask a surprise, and Illfonic does a lot of licensed titles.
Thing is I could easily see a sequel made with Predator used as a base and with more money they can develop the stuff like Predator bots and Xenomorph this time around.
The mission structure as is would also fit in with a AVP Style species campaign structure.
They can’t even fix PHG 1
Avp is canon to the predator universe so they might not technically have rights to avp but I could be wrong and hope Disney does allow them to make another game.
As long as there will be a sequel , I’m ok with Illfonic… I still play the game regardless of all issues…

I don’t get that reasoning. “Quick we’ve fucked this up royally and it’s just a smoldering dumpster fire now, let’s start over again and charge them full price for more of the same neglect as the last one.” If Illfonic made a sequel I severely doubt that they will learn from their mistakes as evidenced by this game.
I just want the same game with updated graphics :P
Is rather have a new game by new developers that will make a better game and care about hell I’d rather have a sequel to avp 2010. Many companies that can make better predator / avp games
