We cant remove specializations anymore.

Only says for Fireteam that no Specialisations. And even then literally all ranged weapons will one shot.

There’s a modifier that allows you to turn off specializations

That was overlooked as that rule was made before the patch. We’ll fix that.

I think you guys need to test these rules, because before patch is fine but since it’s a new patch, you might want to change quite a bit of it.

The map picking rules can be explained better or simplified. I read it twice and I’m atill not sure if i got it, reguarding the band.

Four points wins, but maybe it shouldn’t be 3 matches in a row with pred or FT since it could be a big advantage.

Although rules have many specifics, i think it will work if you guys tested it; lots of displeased comments about that.

There were specializations

Which are banned

Smart disk buff

Which while it does one shot so does Combistick, Bow headshot, and direct plasma caster shots.

LMS buff

Which is very minor.

And Valk buff

Which she is banned until next tournament.

Do to an error in miscommunication the map rules were supposed to be changed but weren’t.

Now they will be chosen at random

We did test it. Our testing was limited so we aren’t expecting perfection but if get the support we need for this tournament we can use the data from those matches to further improve future tournaments

Seriously though common complaints around the game was stat increasing perks as well as some other issues and because we cannot tweak individual perks or weapons banning was our only option.

Ok. Since you did the testing to some degree i feel like people shouldnt be so skeptical and so worried about their performance in this setting. Way to serious about protecting their patted down perd or FT status that was achieved fighting randoms. Also, it’s supposed to be competitive and fun so it doesn’t matter if it reflects the curren game or not.

I won’t be joining this tournament, personally too many restrictions and it doesn’t really reflect the game we play now. You’re on good steps but there’s quite a few adjustments which are needed for more players to join.

It is fair to some extent since we ultimately don’t much data to go off of.

The ony issue with that is finding the steps. The plan was to take the data we gathered here to improve future tournaments.

Esh, while I’m not really interested in the tournament, I’d be down to play your team with or without these modifiers, if you guys would like to.

I dont really like asking for matches because I don’t like bothering ppl.
But since you tagged me here, figured I’d ask.

Also thanks for asking me if I wanted to join, I appreciate the thought.
