Trade off though is they have 25% health by association so it’s real easy to sweep through them if your smart and use cover

On the other…you’ve practically got a completely different game here than what we play? Why not just make it hard-core modifier?
True but is that a bad thing? Especially considering the base game?

Not to mention I don’t think hardcore would of been balanced.
I feel like some of us are too set in our ways and the comly thing that really unites us is complaing about the game and some comedy. Otherwise it’s really hard to get people together for a tourney or to join a clan because people are set in their ways and don’t want to follow someone else’s rules. Come on peolple, live a little. They something new before posting wall of texts about why you won’t.
Try the tourney and then voice your criticism of how it can be adjusted to make for a better experince

I was thinking about the Dutch treat rules. Each FT different class, no specializations, only one healing kit and ammo pack per team, different primary weapons (maybe I’m mistaken here), no camping.
On preds side - no plasma spamming.
Reinforcemts wrer allowed. No damage boosts or reductions were done.
They counted kills and successful extraction as points tho.
Overall preds did fine. I’d say they accounted for about 40% of the wins/points. The pred players were pretty good tho, but i think you guys can ban 😁 all the damage and weapon limitations, allow reinforcemts and allow pred to slam PC and you’ll have a decent balance. Perhaps restructuring win/loss system to the one they had in dutch treat would help preds contribution to be more significant as well.
I may have forgotten a major rule or two. I believe @Jaya_Soames was one of the people who contributed to making of the rules so perhaps you can consult him and ask what worked well and what could be adjusted.
Nothing against whst you proposed. I do like the originality, but perhaps pred is a bit too strong and certain things can be simplified.

The thing with that though is they used points. We’re doing pure wins which means the pred needs to consistently kill.
Not to say they’re system is bad I helped them come up with it, but it does rely on different win conditions then we have set up.

I guess pred takes a shot or two and has to do something else. Some press hardly ever used PC. There was a pure melee build and one that used the smart disk. PC preds used the bow a lot
I do agree that your way of keeping score makes it harder for pred to win

A tournament should be a mirror of what the game is at the moment.
Said that, i was interested in a tournament, but not on this one. I ll pass…
