Gas hadn’t been under 3$ since like a decade if im remembering right.

Not trying to prove you wrong or anything but temporal memory is a tough thing. Sometimes i think a week or two has passed since certain event, but in reality it’s been months.
But, it could also be that reptilians are putting up fake gov data.
