So did the Republic Twice

So been checking out reviews and haven’t seen one good review on the game -_- i thought this game was a re release of the ps2 battlefront 2 which was an instant classic

Sequel Trilogy isn’t canon

Those reviews are most likely from when it came out. I’ll give you a run down of the game.

It is a sequel of the reboot of the franchise that came out in 2015 and while not exactly the same as the classics it pulls a fair bit from them such as the class system, playing as heroes and modes like the capture points and hero battles. But it also adds new elements like customisation, a battle point system which lets you play as heroes and reinforcements which are stronger classes, unlockable weapons for each class, star cards which act as abilities and perks and more. It has content from all 3 eras which is a massive improvement from the 2015 game which was sorely lacking in content mostly because it was restricted to just the Galactic Civil War era. There’s a ton of maps and modes including an oddball mode called Ewok hunt where 2 people start as Ewoks and hunt down Stormtroopers and each Stormtrooper killed becomes an Ewok. It’s got a crap ton of heroes too. It has a fair bit of single player too such as a campaign, battle mode and instant action.

However this is not to say the game is perfect. It’s far from it. Unfortunately the campaign is very mediocre and changes direction very quickly and the hero combat is to put it politely crap.

If you’ve never played it before I think you’ll have a lot of fun giving it a try. And seeing how you can get it pretty cheap these days I’d say it’s worth it. Sadly the game doesn’t get continued support anymore though. But take it from someone who used to no life the game, there’s a lot of fun to be had with it especially if you’re playing with other people 👍

So i heard that like and Vader aren’t in it and either youd have to grind the shit out of it to get them or pay micro transactions to get them dis any of that change? How about riding in the different vehicles like the 2005 version where if it flies, drives, or walks you can use it ti you die?

Yea thier in it but you have to grind for so many hours to even unlock a hero or villain unless you pay microtransactions to get them and other content. I may get it tho it sounds ok. How about the player base is there still a lot of ppl playing or is it hard to find matches

Vader and Luke are in the game. When the game first launched originally those two would cost 40,000 credits each I think and when they were releasing heroes like Obi Wan and Grievous they would also cost around that much credits however shortly after they released Anakin they decided to make all heroes free for everyone. So when you get the game you’ll start with all heroes unlocked.

Vehicles are also in the game. They work the same as reinforcements and heroes where you have to get a certain amount of battle points throughout the match to play as one but there is two exceptions to this being the AT-TE which will drop down on some maps and you can run up to it and get in it and the Tauntauns which work the same way as the AT-TE except they’ll just be sitting around somewhere.

Also if you don’t want to grind for the cosmetics you can buy the celebration edition which will give you access to almost all of them except the ones you unlock through challenges.
