RTX 4090 is really $2500 fucking dollars, and the rest of the computer would add to that. 😂 I’d never spend that kind of money on gaming.

Besides. PHG’s graphics are pretty good on Console, especially at 60fps.

This games flaws were in poor AI, poor controller aim smoothness and assist, poor balance, lack of animations while interacting, and pervasive bugs/glitches/exploits.

My most addicted game! I’ve played Ase for over 6000 hours.
Currently I’m playing Asa on my gaming (lol) laptop. Well…you have to lower the graphics settings if you want. Even so, creating a mutated dinosaur is a very satisfying experience.

I recently purchased a 4070, upgrading from a 1070 Ti. The framerate improvements on this game left much to be desired. It still runs like shit.

Also, unless you are planning to play at 8K resolution, a 4090 is overkill. Still, those GPU’s normally last about 10 years before they become obsolete. Something like a 4070 will cost you about 1/6th of that price and will last you about 5 years before you may want an upgrade.

My old gaming rig (an intel i7 3770K and the 1070 Ti) is still alive and kicking. It’s my wife’s gaming rig now. And I have another old dell with an i7 3770 and a gtx 1660 super, that’s my backup PC for testing and stuff.

Computer builds last a very long time if you take care of them, but the best of it is that you can continue to play games released on the platform even if your system is 10-12 years old.

Consoles on the other hand are pretty much disposable. 6-8 years and then no more games are released for it.
