Pigs disappearing into map

I keep running into this,I’ll kill a pig it will show its location but it’s not there when I go back to it.Anyone else experiencing this?

So if you look around for a “Jaws prompt” when you get to the pig on the map, it’s really never exactly where the icon on the map is you but it will be like right there somewhere

Dead pigs also cool off and turn blue after a time, making them hard to see with the mask on.
