So I’ll start by saying I am in no way a game developer and I really love the game that you guys have created. These are just some things that I (a fan of the movies and now a huge fan of your game) think would be cool things that I think people would be interesting. (I’ll also include some reasoning for some stuff too). So let’s start!
1: Now I know this is probably impossible but I personally would PAY MONEY to have a unique skin of a Xenomorph for the predator. I feel like the hardest thing about this would be getting the rights to use a xenomorph, but otherwise you could just make some unique animations of the (I’ll call the xenomorph “alien” from this point on) alien using its tail for melee and swapping the classic predator clicking sound for a growl or something from the alien, and when you step in the alien blood you take damage due to its acid blood. You could also even have dead FT members turn into Aliens due to face huggers which obviously means the aliens should be kind of like a glass cannon. Speaking of face huggers, you could have these be a kind of “proximity mine. Another probably more achievable goal would be to have a unique predator mask of an alien mask, and a face huggers mask for the FT.
2: I think a city or dense town map would be super cool and “lore friendly”? way to spice up the map selection. The second movie took place entirely within L.A. and i know some people don’t like it as much but I personally loved it. I feel like a map like this would bring a new level of verticality, especially for the FT which would be a new experience.
3:I don’t know what the devs plans for “game modes” are but I feel like that’s a huge opportunity for them. Aside from the classic FT VS PREDATOR they could include any number of modes like, PREDATOR VS PREDATOR (essentially the idea from “Predators” the movie which had predators hunting not only a FT but another predator. This could be kinda cool if you buff the berserker class and then have the FT have to find a release a predator to help them (the small predator would be nerfed but still super useful. Another idea for a game mode would be essentially the same but a 1v1 PREDvsALIEN setup.
Another game mode idea would be a death match kind of set up with FT vs predatorS with a possibility of the FT getting their hands on their own plasma casters or smart discs or even their own cloaking.
4: I was wandering if we could get a couple of choices about predator face types, there have been so many different faces of these guys that I feel a little left out about not having a disgustingly beautiful preddy.
5: two words: PREDATOR CAPES (nuf said)
6: story mode? Maybe show us more about where the predators are from?
Those are most of my ideas for now. Please let us know if any of these are in the future or if these are close. Once again I’ll say these are just ideas and I am in no way a game developer, these are just things that I thought would be cool. Devs I live your game and I’m excited for the future!!
