yeah i guess im looking from PC perspective. but my argument there is console should have a aim assist like most games. especially one where u have to play VS PC …

No but in all reality, if the charged plasma is gonna take as long as it does to charge, as well as not one shot. I expect at least to have consistent aoe damage.
thre is also different ability/skill someone that is landing a lot of shots will think its ok and someone who misses a lot wont. i guess im better with it than i thought lol
yeah maybe the aoe can go up a bit, idk ill keep playing and see if my mind changes. but i think the small shot has aoe now too. it feels like it
Im fairly certain thats what down range actually does, I noticed when I first started playing that when I first equipped down range, I was getting hit markers for shots I didnt hit. I think it gives the smaller shots aoes too. Im not forsure on that tho

You probably are or maybe haven’t experienced teams others have.
Would you say that the fireteam could have just done this? Play as pred count how long it takes for the charged shot to fire then make a strategy against it and adapt? Even simple movements a different direction stopping in place could in theory make a shot miss?
Do you run down range? id be curious to know if you are still getting them if you dont?
No it doesnt i played all day and got many direct hits the perk doesnt make it enough to down.
no im not talking about that, Im saying that I think uncharged shots with the perk have aoe added to them, where as without the perk they do not. I know that down range doesnt make charged shots down
Oh yes uncharged do splash with perk but its like not even noticable

Honestly though, I wouldnt be against them making downrange perk bring the plasma caster back up to fully charged downs. You are after all using a perk slot to attain that. balance that with making the perk cost 4 rather than 3 points of perk slots. I am all for it.

Yeah because as it stands, fearless is significant for melee, but downrange feels like it does nothing BUT add that baby aoe to shots. The perk could use a buff and with pred weapons being as they are now, it makes sense. I would even go so far as to say, headshots with bow (Using downrange) should also be one shots. Especially since they are a bitch to hit unless players are oblivious.
Not to mention we really do have to talk about the smart disc and the handheld plasma caster. Those right there, those are too weak. Smart disc is effectively useless as it is a bitch to fly and even an AI shooting at you takes you out of it, Handheld plasma just sucks ass.
2 fully charged shots is fair. i don’t think being able to instantly kill someone from range would be healthy for this game. how is the ft supposed to combat being one-shot from outside of their effective range, while also being outclassed in melee combat? as of right now, if the pred does any sort of splash damage to the ft, it can basically run in and slay everyone with zero risk.
Bull crap its 4v1 and a down that has chance for revive whats not healthy is predator being a joke.
So fireteam is incapable of moving a different direction they can only sit there as that plasma bolt hits them? you heard it here first people! It’s impossible to escape a plasma bolt!
