I think it would be pretty awesome if they could give the super predators (Mr. Black, Falconer, and hopefully Tracker too if he ever gets released) the gatling gun style plasma caster like the 2010 film.

Yes. In AVP Evolution, each predator had their own unique plasma cannon.
For example, wolf had dual plasma cannons and chopper had a cool railgun.
I also remember there was a special plasma cannon as a secret item that shot glowing white plasma bolts.

They need to revamp the entire gear system to be honest
