Does the plasma caster still one hit people with the down range Perk even tho it was nerfed?

Yes but only scouts and recons (if they don’t have the HP buff from a perk).

So hunter and berserker can’t or am I wrong ?

It can put a player into critical instead of down unless they have taken damage from AI

I wanted to answer your question with accurate information but I have seen few Predators using the Plasma cannon properly. Either they all are spamming bows, combisticks, or traps. It feels like they forget that they literally have a god damn cannon on their shoulder. Which is weird. And there’s the plasma cannon spammers who miss almost every shot…
And I’m usually playing as a Scout and Recon.
I don’t like the thick skin perk because I can use better perks instead of this one. 15 hp is not a big difference if you ask me. I prefer reloading faster or something more practical.
Still, the plasma caster drains my syretts very quick and I find the plasma caster much more practical than before. As I said, now it makes me use a syrette immediately. Before, it just downed me, I got back up with half hp and I was good to go, no need for syrette. I could just run around looking for a first aid kit. Plus, first aid kit are much, much harder to find, so the plasma caster is a big problem for FT.
This is my opinion as a lvl 100 FT player with all guns at max and bla bla bla, because I never had the chance to play as the Predator. So I hope this information helps you somehow.
