I made a small video showcasing how I use the plasma caster and the plasma pistol using the speedy boi (aka scout predator) or the 87 hunter predator to slowly pressure and wear down the fireteams to overtime. This playstyle seems to be much more effective since everyone seems to know how to parry melee attacks against those melee rushers who try to end the game early. Feel free to watch the video and let me know what you guys think, do you think this play-style is the best play-style for the scout and do you think this would be consistent against experienced fireteams?

Once you get the hangs of it, the pistol is actually one of the strongest weapon choices ingame.

Awesome video @TheRealShifo. I must admit, itās a learning curve playing as the Predator, but Iāve picked up some tips watching your vids so thank you.
The hand plasma caster pistol is one of my fave weapons in the game, and really does pack a punch now.
Iāve melt lots of predators with the minigun but I always think after that āhe was not a good predatorā. The only way to melt him is if he runs in close. If any predator notices you have the minigun out and does not leave by the time it starts spinningā¦ Well its a bad predator. If he jumps close to us when I donāt have the miningun out and he does not leave after I switch to it and start shootingā¦ Well he is not a good predatorā¦ The minigun up close does insane damage, even killing the predator before he can activate self-destruct. At the very least you get a second-win out of it.
Good predatorsā¦ You will never pull the miningun out or you will be a sitting duck! If he pulls the miningun, engage that guy even in melee since a parry means the miningun needs to be started all over again before shooting. if you walk around with the miningun out you are slow as hell, good target for disck, arrow, pistol, plasma cannon.
This is a great video, to often Iām like why do the pred players just go all in ALL THE TIME, than rage quit when they die?
You spend so much time jumping around flanking picking away and picking away and harassing. These are the types of preds that make my friends and I struggle, when you just canāt catch a break as the pressure is constant and keeps changing where its coming from.
Far to many preds just bum rush, or post up, get spottedā¦ and stay there. Or are just always in the trees or always trying to melee or always trying to ranged attack. Change it up, harass and wear them down before finishing em offā¦
