So I know it got a buff and all, but there needs to be an adjustment of how quickly you can fire it or tie it to your energy. Because as it is it’s Busted. there has to have some sort of Drawback to it. Balance, it needs balance.
Plasma Pistol needs balance
It feels perfectly fine. Even when I’ve gone up against it doesn’t feel like it’s too strong. The reload time is hell lol. And it’s still a pain in the ass to use vs a good ft.

IMO it’s still 💩 I tried using it after buff and would rather use shoulder Plasma Caster.
Maybe it’s because I’m not use to it, but it’s battery life should not be tied to your armor’s fir they’re separate items.
Did you try shooting back?

It got It’s balance in the last update. Plasma Pistol is where it needs to be.

yes Because having no Drawback for Spam is what it needs to be. It needs Delay or at least drain energy.
Do you like to spam without having a drawback to the weapon?
it’s drawback right now is still it’s low dmg dude you do know there are guns in teh game right now for FT that kill in 3-6 seconds that’s faster than the plasma pistol can kill any class with 150hp

Personally as much as I am glad they buffed it, I agree that it’s kinda braindead now. The best thing they can do imo is change it entirely. It shouldnt be a handheld spam caster with no energy limitations.
Imo it should have to be charged to shoot like the shoulder caster. And do a ton of aoe damage probably. This would make it an ideal tool for clearing buildings and be far less cheeze than the roof spam was.

Or you could give it no aoe, and make it a one shot down but a long charge time making it high skill
But I would only consider that if the ammmo was limited
Can’t lie the funnest parts are standing still cloaked in between the entire FT and start blasting away, since there’s no laser visual.

I think its high rate of fire is offset by its inconsistency and low damage. It is by no means accurate, and often breaks into up to 3 separate little particles that each does 1/3 the damage.
The breaking up of the blast is worse at range and also the more Predator tries to track a moving target with it.
It is okay for area denial and to startle the FT. Great to swap to when overcharged, and blowing up barrels. It is also fun, but I think a far cry away from needing a nerf.
It’s damage was increased by 50% when it was buffed, and I would venture to bet it is still really not a first choice for many serious Predators, if any.
I use it because I find it fun and the public queue is not full of serious FT who will not be intimidated by it and just tank the damage while out DPSing the Predator with their own weapons.

I would add aouto aim and one shot one kill. Also remove this limit of shots… who needs that?! Right?
The pistol is fine. Only six shots and it takes a lot to down someone. Like someone said it spreads into 3 from a distance. No auto aim should be added for any of the weapons. I turn crossplay off anyways so I’m not worried about going up against a mouse. You have to be right on a person for them to get hit and take damage. It doesn’t have a big spread. Playing the stealth game with it is fun. I picked it up cuz the disc feels different now and gets stuck on invisible edges. Reload time on it sucks too. If someone is just spamming all six shots, he will get spotted. You can see the shots trajectory if your looking. Also don’t think it should be tied to the energy system cuz it’s got its own setup. Probably why the reload is slow cuz it’s recharging.

is fine, i mean u cant hitt all the bullets at one time, only if the FT members are freezing in a place…and i use that against those u come with the knife to teach them a lesson.
if their knives are soo good…my pistol too…
never fight a predator with your knife.

I’m sure the plasma pistol will be re-touched. Many options… More rounds, stronger, speed needs to come back to this gun. I’d take speed.
People who say plasma pistol will encourage plasma spamming has a silly way of thinking, its like getting upset that Fireteam will bullet spam Predators with pistol…when it supposed to work exactly as its intended to do.
Just buff the damage a bit, like 5% or even 10% and it would be much better.
