I have to say i got Plasma Rifle Prototyle to level 10 and the 6x scope is FIRE! Really nice feel and handling to this gun! Love it!
My beef right now is the OWLF class. Ive seen two plays customize their outfit to woodland camo and the cyan blue camo, but I can select it but it doesnt show in my loadout.
It’s damage is garbage, and the fact you cAn hurt yourself with makes it useless. I used it for a hand full of matches, and it honestly just isn’t worth it. I’ve caught Preds healing and emptied clips into them with little to no effect. The Rocket launcher is also, not surprisingly, trash. So, I’ll just stick to my usual weapons

Zero recoil, and zero damage just saying. Also had problems destroying branches with it almost like it wasn’t registering the hits.
Thats a good thing, this is the only weapon that can shoot trough branches. But yeah, the damage isnt good, but i still like it lol

Yes and no. It has zero drop in damage at long range, and it ignores the damage resistance of hunter and scout, and probably impenetrable, too.
Indeed it does. Contrary to what others have said here, it’s actually a solid weapon. I dunno how PotFX hasn’t slayed a Pred with his pants down with that thing. Run YB with it and you’re looking at a melting pot. Can put a Viking into SW in a mag. Just gotta hit your shots.
Went from dealing about 1.5k to 2k, against decent Hunters, to struggling to break 1k with it. I very specifically remember the reason I stopped was because I failed to shoot of the mask of a downed predator at point blank range. I had to switch to my secondary to finally get the job done. I get that it bypasses armour, and maybe impenetrable but for the lack of damage I’m getting, and the fact that more than once I ended up damaging myself because a teammate, ai, or even the predator got too close to me while I was shooting it just leave a rotten taste in my mouth.
Wtf are you smoking. A hunter with impen in takes 2 full clips to 2nd win. And also with impen.
The gun is for the potato players since it has aoe damage that damages the pred the same amount

I don’t like the new Rifle, there is a bullet lag. and thus it doesn’t fit my play style. it nice though, 2-3 hit on any A.I. But if your shooting a running predator, good luck hitting him.

@MassImpact124 it’s really nice against AI and vegetation lol…but it kinda sucks against preds. I saw my poor teammate get his head ripped off while I unloaded a full mag into the pred…it did shit damage 🥺
My only problems with it is that it takes a while for it to reach the target but it is great for alarms (1 hit), and is very efficient since you can count how many it fires and one or two will do enough damage in any region of AI bodies. So you don’t waste a bullet. I learnt to time my reloads to make sure it doesnt end in the hot reload. Which is odd because at the end of a cartridge even though you haven’t fired anything 0 still is a hot reload animation which is annoying as its the slowest.
It can hit though tree trunks. I agree that the DPS is terrible, but it actually ignores impenetrable and takes 47 hits to second wind at any range, against a hunter.
