Can you play as the Predator while being in a party?
Me and a couple of my buddies have played around 10 matches and always get put on the fire team.

Yes you can choose to play as a Predator while the others play Fireteam. There is a team selection menu in private matches.
Do you get XP in private matches?
Also, Private Matches, cool. But what about public games? Is this possible?
You can be the Predator if you form a Fireteam in a public match and you get randomly chosen, it was a thing back in Friday the 13th as well, just helps out with queues but can be odd at first if you are used to how DBD does it.
have you actually had this work yet? I have read conflicting statements that say if you queue as a party you will only be fireteam. I know F13 picked a random player, but not sure if it works like this here…
You do. It’s the best way to actually get to rotate around who plays the Predator.
In the beta two weeks ago, me and a friend kept joining as a team on public games. I was team leader and set us up for playing as a predator. He got to play as Pred every match we had, without me getting a chance even once. Wish we could vote or select who would play as Pred :)
Me and one other friend are playing together as a 2 man party and so far we haven’t been able to get a match where either of us are the Predator. I have also read conflicting statements about whether or not quick match as a party will let you be the Predator. Can someone confirm this for me?
