Player broke out of net gun in less than 2 seconds, prety amazing

As far as I can tell, the Net Gun on the Predator is pretty OP, (I am a Pred player, not good one though) and yeah, I be using it. It’s pretty much a guarantee kill unless a team is around a player.

But I just played someone who broke out pretty much immediately after getting caught, (while moving I might add). Wow! I’m really impressed. It was a PC user, dude must have mashed his keyboard or something. I dunno how he did it.

Pointless topic, but I am really shocked and impressed at how quickly he broke out.

Someone posted a video showing how it can be achieved… it’s a sad thing that people resort to such methods but the method used… albeit wasn’t illegal by the standards imposed by EAC … is highly unethical.

Pc player huh, says enough.

Equip the trapper perk, it makes your nets tougher. Enjoy!

One Word. Marcos.

People are able to use macros to break out of the net instantly where the end result is they take 1 damage and aren’t slowed down at all.

Even with that perk, the way it was displayed no perk will help him stay in the trap… it can also be achieved on any controller with macro function or “turbo” function. So it isn’t exclusive to PC players.

yea it’s retarded

If you don’t believe PS4 players are capable of doing that, please, do look up “PS4 Rapid Fire Turbo Controller” on google and you’ll see what those people are capable of doing with such things. This is usually because devs didn’t foresee people using these kind of enhancers and developed a mechanic that is rather simple to be bypassed by them. But now that they know of it, they might be able to change that… or implement a “minimum time to break free” from traps/nets … or the amount of commands the game can receive while in there.

Turbo buttons are also macro’s.

yep lol, another version of a snack in sheep’s clothing

Eh… I believe it should be an easy to fix oversight… as long as they want it fixed (I’d guess they’d want it, after all… it is gamebreaking)

It shouldn’t require any button presses, just have the net come off after a certain amount of time and extend the time the more you move

Oh wow! I didn’t think of that! So that’s how he did it. Hmmm, that’s lame. But oh well. Thanks for the replies people!
