Playing at 1440p.

Sup, guys!

So, I just got a 2.5k monitor, but I’m missing the option for 2560x1440 on settings. Is there anyway to manually change this?

Already updated it the drivers and tried reinstalling the game, still doesn’t showing for me… >.<
Can anybody confirm if that’s this resolution on settings? 2560x1440.

I got an ultrawide monitor at 1440p

I can also select 2560 with 1440

What do you mean by 2.5k? Is 2560x1440 its native resolution?

1440p=2k

Damn, so there is… I don’t understand why isn’t available for me. >.<
Thanks for posting, dude. Really appreciate it. :)

Yep.
2.5k > 1440p > QHD

No problem.

Uhh, ok but: what is your native resolution then? These terms that even sellers throw around nowadays are inaccurate and often confusing

It used to be full HD, 1920x1080. Then I got this brand new monitor today and I can choose 3840x2160 but no 2560x1440, that’s so messed up, lol.
Is working all good with W10 and every other games I have, but this…

If you have an AMD graphics card for example, you can try and activate “Virtual Super Resolution” from Radeon settings and then set your desktop resolution to 1440p.
Haven’t tested it yet, but it might work

Try windowed fullscreen. It autoselects 4865.2036 for some reason but it works fine for me. If it set fullscreen then I can select the resolution I want.
This is how I play:

Just one of the many bugs this game has. native for me its 3440x1440.

If it helps, this is my monitor:

I also got an NVIDIA card. GeForce RTX 2080

On NVidia Painel:

On W10:

It is set up properly, every other game I have I can choose that resolution, but this. I already downloaded the game and my video card driver… will keep looking to solve this. I’m using a RTX 2070 Super and an Aorus AD27QD. I tried go into windowed mode as well, but still not showing.

Thanks a lot for you attention, @Xan84 and @Bayn_11. :)

Ok so it is indeed a 1440p monitor (2560x1440p native).

Are you sure that the options in-game aren’t just misreporting, and in reality it is actually set to the correct one? Happened to me iirc.
When you launch the game with the option that you have, does it look weird, blurry or more grainy?

P.s. by misreporting i mean exactly what happened to @Xan84 (shows 4865x2036 but in reality it’s 1440p)

i couldn’t tell the difference honestly… i use a 240 hz 1080p monitor but it doesn’t matter cause i don’t get 240 fps

If I choose the 3840x2160, in general, it gets a bit bigger than it should be (icons, letters, etc) comparing to the correct resolution (I tested in other games). And since the 1440p does shows to other people on P:HG, it has to be bugged or something, since it’s not showing for me.
And yes, it gets a bit grainy.

For me, it’s not about the FPS really, it’s just 'cause if you do not use the native resolution, the game doesn’t run as well as it could and should be. >.<

Gotcha. Weird…I ll tinker around with the res myself when I get home and I ll report if I find out something.
