Playing Predator is absolutely 0 fun

Hey man, I’m not one of the preds struggling. I just wanted to give you some insight as to why people get so mad with pred dying easily. I do feel hes too weak, compared to the damage he dishes out.

Now that I think about it it might just be cause the ft gets a million heals but idk.

I just wish the game played differently. Idk if I mentioned it here but I think the maps should be bigger and the ft needs longer and more complex missions. Giving the pred an actual chance to watch them and stalk them.

Like I would love to watch an ft for like 10 minutes straight, them not sure if I’m there or not. To the point where they dont even know if I’m still playing.

Then when they least expect it, boom, I attack at the worse time possible. Or, every 5 minutes I shoot an arrow or plasma blast, killing one person.

It would lead to way more possibilities. But maybe it’s just cause I love stealth games.

FT should only have the option having one Of each class per team in the hunting grounds… dumb they can have 2 recon and 2 support. AlSo why should non sniper classes be able to equip snipers. Its stupid and super unbalanced. Certain classes should only be able to use specific class weapons. EVOLVE DID IT RITE!

Even the people who play well feel that ft is too powerful atm. I have literally been killed by 4 shotgun shots. A mere 4. Granted I was standing still and I let the dude kill me cause I didnt care about winning, I had my fun.

Go look up the video showing how fast a pred can die.

I use the best shotgun with the extended 20 shell mag on the scout because of the extra damage on the secondary weapon. I have to unload to put a predator down. I usually empty and have to switch to my primary before a second wind or death. IDK

Maybe people feel they get melted, but they probably shouldn’t be in a position for this to happen.

Preds shouldn’t be invincible. If player are dying they’re not playing well, usually.
Honestly a Great Predator against a great FT with Coms is gonna be tuff for the predator.
Headsets are the most OP thing in gaming.

Yeah headsets are beautiful. It’s not like a disagree with you that some people need to play smarter. Cause I see… I see things that make me question how people function as human beings.

But the game as it is right now is heavily in the fire teams favor. I was on my scout when I got killed with 4 shots. I’m guessing hunter might take 6, zerk 8, but I’m not sure. It was a pump action shotty btw.

yea i kinda pointed this out too but most of the players in this game is Fireteam and they wanna make it about them selfs so its Really hard for the devs too do the right thing when to them right and wrong is built around who ever crys the most so.

Yup, some of the weapons need work (smart disc speed, club’s huge wind-up swing, ect) but the survivability of the predator isn’t an issue as long as boars keep spawning

I will second that - with current “stealth” mechanics in game its pointless to eaven try to act as a predator. You litterally have no chance. They can see you and hear you for miles

Also, apart from kitchen knife - there is no stun damage to anybody. Pred is a sponge for bullets and FT are sponge for meeles and plasma. No one shows any signs of pain or actual shock of being wounded. Might sound stupid but in a predator game its preete visable.

I try to hunt by the lore code but since my cloak is useless unless i stay in place for an agonizing 3 secs in which i give away my position, I tend to just play hit and run

trapping builds are alright but the invisibility cloak again, is painfully obvious

yea witch is why i like the idea of this Rework so much. i dont think they’ll ever do it but it makes so much sense.

Playing a private solo match feels more like a predator experience than multiplayer to be honest. You can actually creep up on the A.I. and get stealth kill moves that you can’t do to the fire team, like use the net gun to pin them to a wall or floor, then stab them with the combistick or other different finishing moves with different weapons. It’s pretty neat. If they worked this kind of thing into a single player challenges mode like F13 game it would rock and be a way better predator experience IMO.

Exatly every one act like they are pro. But if you are really good you are gonna win most of your games as pred, because most of people are not those pc premade promfps player. Just too much excuses.

The game finishes in 5-8 minutes cant do much in that time even if you distract them. The FT don’t have a reason to split up and can kill the predator easily no matter what class or how good the player is.
