Even when drunk I end up as top damage dealer on preds… Hell, one game I even had less than two minutes of play time… while drunk, and still managed to get the Pred to 2nd wind, by myself.
If that is not evidence enough that Preds need a buff, I dont know what is. Drunk, and still fucking up Preds like they were ants.

Seriously though… Preds are currently weak vs PC players… even the ones that dont tryhard and lower their setting to the point ones aestethic sense starts to hurt.
I mainly play FT… and I find most of them Preds to be cakewalks. They are often unable to provide enough pressure to provide a challenge. Sure, they might kill me. I’m not one of those players that claim that “I’m all that”, just slightly above average. And I still get Preds that run away from me more often than not… and then I chase them down and send them to Yautja Valhalla.
I know, game balance is a bitch. PC players have a distinct advantage in keyboard+mouse… guess what, nothing prevents PS4 players from using keyboard+mouse. The PS4 is compatible.
And Preds are just too weak to contend with decent FT players. Even when drunk I can do enough damage to a Pred that it will regret the engagement, and at range it is still not that hard to hit it.
Playing Pred while drunk would be one heck of a challenge though.

I can agree… this game is well balanced for the PS4.
And if I was on PS4, I’d turn crossplay off as a Pred… instantly.
This game needs to be friendlier to newbie Preds. There’s not alot of people that will continue playing when they get insta raped by the “prey”. And lets not forget, the FT is the prey. Yet, I never feel like I am the prey when I play FT. Drunk or sober… And if even a scrub like me can give a Pred, of average skill, a run for its predlocks when drunk… Preds are too weak.

I seen some badass Preds out there as a FT main. The weak ones just make me want to train to become a strong Pred. I think you need to start playing as Pred so you can be a solution to what your complaining about.
As i said before pred feels bad dmg wise. Illfonic is terrible. Same shit in friday 13th applies to this game… lol
Balanced on ps4? Not so sure. For good predators, turning on crossplay is about the only time a team is challenging.
Games like battlefield, fortnight, and call of duty have smoother aiming and assist to mitigate the controller/mouse aim tracking difference. That’s what this game really needs.
But other problems exist, like predator sounds not registering, melee attacks damaging twice with one swing, and too many buffs for predator, like the increased slow when hit by melee. It’s forcing fireteam to all play Dutch or support, with 7en and 2xL. Most of the weapons are laughable and the recon and scout are all risk, no reward, especially because of the melee hit slowing buff.
When the avg ft game i play i do 3k dmg… thats not ok

That’s also because MOST ps4 players dont use headsets… and therefor have no clue about any sound cues. The amount of times I’ve been cam trailing PS4 players running around like headless chickens is almost laughable… especially since I can track the pred moving around them with ease.
And that is probably the major reason why ps4 teams are a roflstomp most of the times… something a halfway decent headset would fix… or a surround system.
And usually why I end up dead and cam following PS4 players, because I know where the Pred is… I start shooting at it, and the rest of the group runs along merrily having no clue what is going on. Or that is how it seems anyway.
Finally a man with some common sense.
What are headsets? (Sarcastic voice) My squad and I obviously wear headsets. We’ve played multiple battlefield and CoD games together, as well as games such as paladins, smite, and rainbow 6 siege.
This game has had sound glitches, since the 1.08 patch.
It’s about what the changes are, not just the number of nerfs. 2 small predator nerfs can be less significant than 1 big fireteam nerf, obviously.
