Ok I’ve been play non stop since the new update and with the new buffs to the predator its getting really boring always winning with the predator and always losing with the fireteam if you cant win as the predator please stop crying it’s not illfonic’s responsibility to make sure you always win learn the game or go play something else it’s going to get to a point where only the predator will win and no one will play as the fire team because all you will do is lose then this game will truly be dead so please stop buffing the predator if anything the predator needs a nerf now all the classes except the scout are op the fire team only stands a chance if the completely ignore the mission and focus only on the predator and even then if 2 guys die on the fire team it’s over there is absolutely nothing the other 2 players can do 7 out of 10 times the predator wins it felt balanced after the first patch now it’s starting to feel super unbalanced in favor of the predator please stop buffing the predator and if you do make sure to buff the fireteam you cant keep adding to one and talking away from the other you just kill your game

Predator didn’t get buffed, he actually got nerfed. Weapons got buffed.
Fireteam was always tipping the scales since launch. Predator was always making too much noise from far away, or frankly the other Melee Weapons are not up to par to Pre-Dutch Patch Combi-Stick. Fireteam has been thankfully changed but not watered down. I shudder to think about how every single class could carry 3x Health and 3xAmmo bags into the match back then. And this is coming from a Mainly Fireteam Player.
The predator is way to easy to win with it’s getting boring not even a challenge anymore sorry if you find it difficult I dont it’s just win after win after win where’s the fun in that I feel sorry for the people who think he’s weak but they need to stop expecting illfonic to spoon feed them wins this game will be dead by the end of the year if they dont or full of little kids who dont know any better either way it’s not looking good for fan’s

There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of others that you could have gone to for whatever meager validation it would have offered but no everyone feels the need to desparately beg for attention separately from everyone else doing the same damn bloody thing. Pred is OP. Pred is too weak. FT is OP. FT is too weak. All at once and all after the same patches. Clearly if both factions are simultaneously too weak AND too OP, the game is apparently perfectly balanced!!
bruh it must be that a) you’re very very good with the predator b)you only encounter shitty FT both when you play as pred and as FT.
no one here can individually make a meaningful representative “sample” of what is the most common outcome between pred VS FT, but I can assure you that if you are not a very good player, if you encounter 4x PC players FTs you WILL get smashed fairly often. It is true that it’s rare tho (way more PS4 players), so that might be part of the issue. But that has nothing to do with the predator being OP. If you’re a novice pred vs noob FT, you will lose way more times than them. Same goes for High lvl skilled coordinated FT vs High lvl skilled Pred. Very freaking hard unless you have a very effective strategy
It was just a generalization, I feel that illfonic is gonna mess up by catering to the wrong people. I’ve never really found it hard to win as either side pred or fire team but the more changes that are made the easier it gets as the predator and the harder it gets for the fire team they need to be careful. As far as buffs go, I know they didn’t buff the classes this time around only the weapons. It’s a generalization, the weapons are pred weapons so the way I see it they buffed the predator first patch and then the weapons, nerfed the fire team weapons first patch, changed perks and class attributes around this second patch. What’s next? More for the predator and less for the fire team? It just doesn’t add up to a balanced game, people need to chill and learn to stop with the expectations. I’m worried this game will never be balanced at this point.
There’s a bunch of shitty fireteams out there, mostly randoms, and after the first patch I thought things were good. Now, after the second patch the predator is way to easy to win with. I have still lost but mostly because I was sloppy or made a bad choice. Not because the predator is weak and the fireteam is op. Thats me not the game.
