And in 15 months the full release comes out for $60 on PS5, with 7 maps, 5 game modes, city maps, Danny Glover, and the real kicker… Functional matchmaking.

Games highkey do this every year for base prices of 60 bucks. So I don’t know why everyone’s so judgy when the base price was 40. The game had it’s glitches, the game had it’s balance issues, the game still has a ways to go for graphical issues especially on PC, but those fixes came in the weeks following release, with no break in sight actually. Remember how long to took for No Man’ Sky or even Fallout 76 to get their stuff together? Illfonic is listening, they’re improving the game, and yes, they’ll patch it to be better. That’s literally every modern game. Who wouldn’t Patch it to be better?

All jokes aside, it’ll never happen. The truth is that other asinine companies will see crap like predator, no man’s sky, FO76, ect, and feel like they can release a 25% complete game and spend the next 3 years having people praise them for ‘working on it sooo hard’ when it should have been a complete damn game on launch day. No one will be safe from increasingly incomplete crapware. Imagine moving into a house and the landlord is like ‘yeah we got the bathroom coming in the next update’.

Half the games that come out now a days are all in beta.
-hate to say it, but it looks like a trend however, next gen games that are cross platform will now have a different development approach, I’m happy to hear it but we don’t know much about it or how they do it.
We don’t know how quickly they can accomplish what they had previously took 3-4 months doing which is the optimization part of it. Now that that is gone, we might be in for better games…here’s hoping.
I would so be down to drop another 60 $ on this game. I am enjoying every bit of my Jungle Hunter 87 and Ol’ Painless … not to mention the graphic novel pdf. Can’t wait to do some city hunting…

Can’t tell if this is sarcastic but I feel the same way also did you notice 87 plays different from a hunter i haven’t lost with him then I used the hunter and lost a few

As fucked up as the game is I really hope it is backwards compatible with the ps5… i have an emense love hate relationship with the game. So yes i would like to play next gen with it even tho it desperately needs work. Hopefully sooner than later.
Ps. Anybody pre-ordering ps5, and if so what edition… not sure what one Im Wling to get just yet.
Of course it will be backwards compatible with the PS5. All PS4 games will be able to be played on the PS5. It won’t be enhanced for it though. Not straight away. Only the top 100 games at launch will be PS5 enhanced.
