So personally hate the route they are choosing to go with the weapons and equipment for the FT. How everything now is lasers and predator tech and future stuff. I wanted a gritty more realistic approach to the weapons on the human side. But I’m just curious if I’m alone on this one or not. No fuckin clue how to make a poll on this so just give feedback with comments

Dude They’re going to just make the fire team have everything and the predators barely anything and when Predator players leave fire team matchmaking is going to go way up and then they’ll be forced to add stuff for predator

Yeah I just want the predator to have the equipment advantage (cause duh?) but I’m totally fine with the overwhelming firepower the ft has. But that should be the balancing point. Kinda like spies vs mercs in splinter cell or even the super dope pvp in arkham origins. Batman literally one tapped you from behind but you could EASILY melt him too. This game seems to give the ft the best of both worlds

Also, I don’t mind the weapons being added, as long as more are brought to Predator to “even the field”.
But it appears sketchy so far, so I cant put full faith into the weapons system.
I strongly believe in Counters.
If you release a weapon make sure there is a counter to it.
The counter should be obvious.
Or else like any scale.
There is just to much weight on one side at that point.

If we really want a weapon we should go hard in suggesting it being added. Make a thread in Feedback for what particular weapons we want, get that post a lot of daily traffic, and post a link to that suggestion on twitter when Illfonic tweets something.

While i do hate that Fireteam as it stands just has gotten more meaningful content than the predator as (predator got 3 classes so far 2 of them are shit one of them is the best in the game 3 melee weapons and one gear that is worthless) while the fireteam got 2 good AR’s out of 4 2 classes that most consider to be the best in the game right now and a bunch of gear that gives them a crazy amount of utility
But i would rather them explore AVP col marines tech as to be blunt most of the modern stuff they could add is just like meh? like yeah they could add a a bunch of more modern guns they could add different kinds of ammunition kinda that case of oh cool another assault rifle and it… omg wow it shoots bullets like all the other ones i hope it can out DPS most of them or else why even add it?
and them doing classic Predator movie esc traps are just a pipe dream never gonna happen unless they put it pre made into the maps but then after the first day no predator worth their salt will fall for them unless it’s on purpose

Yeah Colonial marines would be cool. But I almost feel an AVP game would be needed for that

Yes, it destroys the contrast in sides if they’re going to give the FT more and more ‘future/Pred’ weapons/gear. Might as well give the Preds a sniper rifle if they’re going to mess things up this way.
If they start giving the FT biomasks and thermal vision that will likely be me done with the game.

More high tech gear. Gives the devs more excuses for more mechanicly different gear. Look at the new secondary they added with the last content update.
Not to mention it’s 2025. We should be Yautja hunters at this point.
I agree. Mostly due to the lore implications in that I am more in favor of shared universe with colonial marines. So to me having energy weapons like we have in the game really breaks immersion, regardless if I play Predator or FT. We just needed more gritty HUMAN weapons and advanced tech. Not predator hybrid tech. It just makes me think of that crap-ass movie.

I don’t care about the year and logic. I care about what makes predator great in the first place. And it’s not people hunting predators lol it’s the other way around. Also the new secondary is pretty OP with the correct builds I’m just not gonna mention those so people don’t start using them
I actually like the laser rifles but I do think there’s too many of them they really need to add more just military style weapons
