I loved the space battles in star fox, this o n.v e robotech game for gamecube, and project sylphed for xbox 360.
Idk what it is about huge space battles but I love them.

Honestly. This game has eve scale battle potential. But with the added bonus of every ship in your fleet being completely custom.

The article by Illfonic did not state the alpha would be exclusive tho, in fact it stated that it was only early access and that it would be released to the public on both pc and ps4.
Like I already mentioned, I just suggested a working solution for everyone that addresses all issues i.e. exclusivity, availability and legality. But he does not like it and his main issue is that a requirement for it is to have two separate skins of JH in the game. The current one and a new one which is more accurate, has a different name and is for free for those who pre-ordered the game.
So he has started the whole drama over this and he still wants to prove something.

I was more taking a different approach to the argument, that I saw as more fun than just arguing the angles you 2 are.
Also I had a PC version of the game pre-ordered. However I did not like (and still do not) a released version of JH after checking him myself, so I requested a refund because I had a promo coupon that was valid for already released games. This way I paid for it around 2/3 of its price.

It is not scummy at all because no one promised to anyone that new models are going to be exclusive. IllFonic and Sony fulfilled their obligation already by providing a promised skin and keeping it exclusive. Not to mention there was no extra price to be paid for it. Also they did not have to revise it but they did for free.
My suggestion was to make an accurate model of JH thanks to making it paid DLC. But now there is no reason to waste resources on the current flawed model for IllFonic and Sony. And IMO it deserves a better treatment as an iconic Predator.
At the end of the day it is up to IllFonic and Sony and no cutie pie or anybody else can dictate them what to do in this matter. I myself have not even bothered the devs about it on their social platforms at all.
