POLL: Should Predator Cloak While Melee?

I’d say the first stamina-free strike should be cloaked. But the next one should reveal. You never see them fight cloaked in the movies, even the ‘bad bloods’. Not until Danny T came along at least.

Well, with this, you can’t be sprinting, hit them, and stay cloaked; you have to be just running, walking or stationary. So far you can only do it for basic melee attacks on your weapons, and not the heavy attacks. It really feels like an easter egg.
Some weapons (or heavy attacks) that might take too much stamina (or have longer animations) do not render as cloaked. It doesn’t matter how much stamina you have though, unless you have none.
I think it could only happen with the wrist blades like in the original movie from 1987
You can certainly do that cloaked. I did it just a few minutes ago to check.

i find it ironic that 99% of the people here are always complaining about exploits but at the same time are asking for a video tutorial on one
makes you just as bad as the exploiters we already have lol
The moves I make are all realistic and canon. Better yet, people haven’t seen them before.
Well in this case, Predator still being cloaked while doing melee attacks. That’s not intended mechanic.
You don’t have to. You’re using an ingame exploit to your advantage.
It still doesn’t make it right.

Idk. I’d focus on people who use exploits which buff themselves, instead of nerfing themselves. That’s what this is, a nerf, but for fun. You won’t win a match with it, that you wouldn’t win without it. You can’t use it against the best teams without getting absolutely shredded. I’m also offering to give the upgrade to everyone for use. It changes the game to make it more fun.
Very different from the exploits used by people most defended here.
I also wasn’t sitting on it for years and years silently. As soon as I discovered it, I brought it to everyones’ attention.
You can sprint upto a person, quickly unsprint and melee, then sprint away again. That’s about its only powerful move. That, and jumping over people. It doesn’t make or break a game though. It only adds a layer of fun with additional predator functionality.
Sure with a noob FT I can knife attack while cloaked until they’re all dead, but I wouldn’t try that with day 1 players.
When you’re in the waiting screen as predator, waiting with the other fireteam, go to your options menu and do the following as you see in the video. After each Delete, or Set action, press the Save Button. What this does is clear out the initial set of fire, reprogram in cloak to initialize, then you reset back in fire weapon. This allows your cloak to sync with your actions better. At least for single, light attacks.
(You may have to predefine your keybinds to what is seen in the video)
Afterwards, you should be able to do single attacks as melee while invisible. This lasts for as long as you haven’t closed the game, I believe. You don’t have to do this every match.
He should have mentioned Rose during his puppet show. If he did Doc would’ve spiraled into a manic depression and Toy Maker would have won. I know she didn’t necessarily apply to the point he was trying to make in that scene but her life was drastically and permanently disrupted nonetheless.

Good luck. It’s so intrinsic to the cloak and the game, it would take them longer to change it, than to make a new map. We all know we aren’t getting a new map. And you mean ticket. Not issue.
