I do not do that. The amount of Veritanium I may or may not gain at the end of the match does not change my behavior during the match.

Private Match Rewards

So I already know what a lot of people are gonna say, that people shouldnt be punished for playing with their friends in private matches. But Wowzers is private matches way too easy to abuse. As a pred main, I do play FT sometimes. But alot of the time I dont feel like playing with mic’less teamates, or roflstomp pubs (both ways). So I play private matches. Interesting and I do agree with most of it.

I would say disable all rewards in private matches, for obvious reasons. But if I had to choose at the very least I think XP should be disabled in private matches, and the recording things for the perk.

Arguably those are the only resources that can make a difference in game play (by unlocking classes, perks, items, etc.)

Cosmetics do not, and I think that is all you can access with Veritanium so let that flow for what it’s worth.

Def do both, it all depends my mood. If I’m thirsty for Veritanium I’ll do Solo Private, when playing with others in Private or Public I also look around, but not as much because I’m focused on dealing with Pred.

That’s for sure.

In order to keep the players base and attract new ones, new content has to be deployed. Now meaningful and well-thought-out content would make the difference; new hair styles, facial hair are awesome but do not push the momentum for the game. Maps, game modes most likely to keep the game going.

I believe there will always be people willing to play the game on regular basis but at some point the number of active players will be limited to a smaller audience.

Remembering that the game took advantage of being released in a period where most people were standing home (due to the virus outbreak) and that not many appealing games were released (PS4)–I still feel that not so many people got into the game, I, for one, have friends who–despise my efforts–didn’t think the game was worth investiment when comparing to other FPS available…

With that said, I am positve in giving time to IllFonic work on new content. Over 30 days from release we had a few patches, a DLC–I won’t get into the merit whether those were what we were looking for–but they are steps forward surely.

So, despite voting “farming playing the game normally”, I’d like to comment on it.

It’s not that I enter in a match with primary goal run around collecting the Veritaniun…I collect them as long they’re in my path or that their location don’t deviate me from my current path…so whilst completing a mission if I enter a room and there’s stuff to collect so be it…but if I see they shinning quite away I do not bother.

I wanna say it, because “farming” at least for me means, your main goal when joining a match is collecting the max Veritanium as possible irrespective of trying to complete a mission or not.

I feel like using the term “playing the game normally” makes this a VERY loaded question. It’s outright saying that if you play Private Matches you are deviant or abnormal. I still voted though. But I either farm solo or I play with friends over PM because none of us like dealing with the randoms and their dumb bullshit. Soon they’ll get tired of running off solo to farm or just being stupid and get to their usual BS of deliberate teamkilling to troll. In my experience public games always devolve into this. There are like 10% people that are cool and fun to play with/against and the rest are trolls.

By Farming…well if you really need to farm in private matches thats your business. Public matches provide a decent opportunity for collecting Large size purple V.
