Possibility of other game modes and maps to expand the experience.

It’s been almost a year.
So, to improve upon the beta, so far we’ve had…

One new game mode
One new map
2 interchangeable Arnold DLCs ($$$$)
5 interchangeable Predator DLC ($$$$)
A handful of cardboard cutout DLCs ($$$$)
No options for Verantium above buying duplicate content
An XP limit of 150

Did I miss anything?

Yes, almost a year.

So far we have no clue of the ammount of people working for this game. Is a bit weird because they might have taken away from the teams to actually work on another title, whatever that might be. Is how things work.

So open up the source code and let everyone make maps and content. We can build faster than Illfonic.

Can’t do that whole “company is shutting down, leak the source code to the community” thing anymore. It’s technically illegal outside the early 2000s (even then devs leaked it in secret instead of screwing their career) and there are still games trapped in limbo pending cease and desist orders. You’re giving everyone access to your intellectual property including competitors, games and assets are expensive and it doesn’t make sense from a business standpoint.

That and its unreal engine which is generally strict and not designed to be modded or reverse engineered whatsoever. It would take you or me years to do anything besides just adjust stats and screw with the lighting in cutscenes even with access to the source code, look at Halo’s mod community slowing to a crawl because the game outside Custom Edition isn’t made for community asset swaps - especially not multiplayer because netcode is a whole different animal. And these are people who had previously reverse engineered Halo Online now unable to make decent progress when dealing with unreal engine.

Stuff like bethesda games allow you to extract/insert resources because the game engine is specifically designed to let you do so.
Everything’s not Skyrim or Garry’s mod

Welp, all we have to do is wait a bit, maybe they will decide to release something interesting at the 1 year celebration. Maybe they are working on much more than we know and that we seen trough supposed leaks of all sorts. If is really not many people working on the game itself then we need to be patient.

Since people are reaching or reached max level, and I don’t know if someone talked somewhere about this, would be lovely if players get a prestige title and as soon as they get that title they are offered to become clan/tribe members.

Clans/Tribes that are like factions for predators/hunters.

This prestige, reached after max level, would be neat if it can actually allow the hunter to equip an additional trophy…and unlocks another slot on the body for it to be placed.

Aside becoming a member to a tribe/clan, would be very neat if the tribe/clan would come with a perk for the player to buy tribe/clan related gear, like war paints belonging to the tribe/clan, armor tints, even banners in terms of cosmetics.

As well as a scoreboard to determine where people can see the best players with scores and positions in the tribe/clan.

Also to be added, would be a blast if people get a trophy especially when reaching prestige or stepping into the prestige level counter.

The tribe/clan choice should be permanent for every account in the game, on every platform.

Technically I think they are tribes

Starting with Predator 2 and the lost tribe

Not sure when they started calling Elders clan leaders

Or if was ever an official title

At any rate I prefer tribe as clan reminds me of the klu klux variety

Well, technically a clan can be a subdivision of a tribe. And if a tribe can have to almost thousands of individuals, clans can represent a smaller group that can be a subdivision of a tribe with particular sets of traits and interest from the tribe.

I get the mentioned reference by you that brings you a bad vibe. Remember this is an alien hunter clans and tribes. Don’t mix them up or let’s not be too emotional about this fictional stuff here.

Either way would be a great addition to the game system.

A trapper-tracker predator class with the “call hellhounds” ability to unleash on the Fireteam (along with attacking NPCs) would be nice as an addition to the roster. This would be good to come along with a reservation type of map.

That or just make it available for the scout. Would attract more players towards the class.

It would be cool if dead FT could respawn as the hounds

Like Ewok Hunt from BFII

Not a bad idea at all. O.o
But after permadeath (when no more reinforcements available or just a temporary stance of gameplay). Would be tricky to do tho in terms of balancing and user obedience(what if the Fireteam members who play the hounds do not accept to play/attack?).

Also, that would actually have to put more players in the session maybe? To be 6 in total?

Another good idea would be maps with day/night cycle. Or just maps that have night or take place during night time, where the teams need to do missions using night vision.

A good mechanic on these maps would be for the fireteam to use ultraviolet lamps in their advantage in order to avoid or escape the hunter/predator. And somehow push the hunter players to stick more to thermal vision.

Overall would make the game more challenging for both and interesting. Making the users to adopt other approaches into achieving their goals.
