Possible fix for Queuing - Suggestion

Hello there Guys and Gals,

So I believe I have a fix for the queuing issue we all know is out there, Be it the Predator has a 5+ minutes wait time, Or that Fireteam people just aren’t signing up for it. Now we all know the main problem arrises because every Tom, Dick, and Harry wanna play Predator which is understandable given the game’s theme, Though personally I haven’t played 1 game of Predator since launch (other than tutorial) and I’ve been content with that. So here is my suggestions as follow:

  • Have a Vs AI option where those who just wish to try new loadouts on the Predator can test them out and see how it could feel, Without adding to the Queue time and waiting a while just to TEST it.

Now this is my main idea: Priority Queues
-To fix the Predator issue a Priority Queue system can be put in place, Where players get the choice, They can either wait the 5minutes to queue for Predator… OR if they complete say 3-5-8 games as Fireteam Members then they get a buff / message on the main screen (or Quick Play screen) where it says “You have earned Priority Queue for Predator” and thus they get placed AHEAD of the 5 minute queuers for the right to play Predator.
-Why 3-5-8 games? Well it’s simple, Within the Priority Queue system the more games you play as Fireteam Members the higher in the Priority system you will be placed, So 3 games as Fireteam is bronze, 5 games is silver, and 8 games is Gold.
-But won’t this piss off the Predator solo queuer’s? Maybe it will, However they won’t be denied their capability to queue at all as with more players wanting to earn Priority Queue it should bring down the base queue time as well.

That’s my idea, Any ideas? Thoughts? Do you Love or Hate it? Please let me know below!

Its not a bad idea, but i think the problem is more complex, i say this becouse i have played with other ppl in the FT queue, the others get in a lobby with free slots while im still looking for a match and not making me join that lobby.

I can appreciate that, It’s possibly something with Netcoding then. But I was hoping to rectify both queues with this one idea :)

I guess if illfonic fix the queuing problem. We won’t need to wait more that 3mins

Yeah but the issue arrises from so many people wanting to play Pred. I’ve played the game since launch and not once have I queued for Pred of which I’m totally fine with.
