For my idea was for dual wristblades a variant for well…wristblades duh ! It would be another weapon to make melee fast viable and rewarding like the war club/hook . It would also come with an alternate projectile function where you’d shoot the blades out the secondary gauntlet (actually featured but forgot in which film) which would stick and add a bleeding affect to targets (which with the right perk would be negated slightly or completely knowing illfonic )
Post ideas of any weapons perks or attachments you'd love to see in this game (I'm generally curious)

I think one cool idea but illfucknic will never do it would be a grapple for the predator to grab soldiers in to the trees or a fireteam temporary invisibility gear

Its just sad a lot of these suggestions would require some serious reprogramming, something Illfonic cannot do. Just look at the Trident, which is just a weaker combi skin, nothing more. Same melee animations, same throw animation, just with a weirdass hop after every throw. And they label it as a new weapon. Its the pinnacle of lazy. What’s the last weapon that actually took effort to program? The Hook? And how long ago was that? Jesus. I mean no offense but that’s why threads like this are sad to read, because a lot of these ideas are really cool, but again, requires a level of effort Illfonic is either incapable of doing, or unwilling to do.

Yea I understand but sometimes it’s nice to know what the community wants even if it won’t ever come to the game and that’s what pc mods are for…improving and adding stuff the Devs couldn’t

Sadly Illfonic would need to release the source code and all that intricate stuff in order for mods to be made, which they likely will never do. There’s a couple people here that have been able to mod in certain things, like changing player skins, forcing a 2v8 mode, ect. but the full extent of what you’d want and expect is currently impossible, and certainly will be for console users.
Yea if and big IF they did it most likely the source code would be released on their final update on the game and judging by how long they’ve held on with a few updates every few months won’t happen in a long while yet
Its gonna be a long, long time. This game’s servers will be active for the next four years at least; Friday the 13th’s just shut down and they’ve been up since 2017. And then the game needs to basically become abandonware and a way to crack into it to inject any modifications without any issues needs to be discovered. By that point I feel the community will simply no longer exist.

AVP 2010 is a decent game, if you can find it for Xbox 360/PS3. Used to play it a lot back in the day.
