Remember those days when some body posted a video using controller and they are saying Ljoy and Rjoy together is AIM ASSIST?
BUt their tone is like, its some automatic algorithm on PS like its automatically locking on?

I really had a joystick connected to my computer, because sometimes I play Mortal Kombat and I’m too lazy to connect and disconnect the joystick every time, so it was connected to the PC, I also had fun playing joystick, I don’t know how to play shooters on a joystick, in general, my gameplay is not for the faint of heart. What does piss me off is the hypocrisy. He exploit a controller setup for advantage, then act like he is just vibing with his console buddies.

See the Cronus Zen doing all the aim adjustments? It has no idea what’s on the screen. It’s just mimicking a player nudging the analog stick with tiny movements. That’s all it does.
Controllers suck at precise aim, try flicking to a headshot with a thumbstick. It only works because of aim assist and movement smoothing, both built into the game by devs to make controller aiming usable.
Predator: Hunting Grounds activates these systems the moment a controller is plugged in, even if you aim with a mouse. The game still thinks you’re using a controller, so the aim assist stays on.
Abuse it with a mouse, and suddenly it feels like you’re locking onto targets with oversized hitboxes.
But wait! There’s a Level II to this fuckery.
You can run a macro script on PC that mimics the same stick movement as a Cronus Zen. The game sees it, thinks “ah yes, a controller!” and hands you full aim assist while you’re aiming with a mouse. That’s basically soft aim bot. I would be surprised if they haven’t tried that.
And no, this wasn’t some accidental discovery last year. It’s been abused by PC players since less than six months after launch.
Just a question then, you still have to use a keyboard for movement. When you do so, won’t the game recognize it and disable the aim assist?
