you have to write disclaimer first and give definition of cheat, how do I create a poll?
Hi DPI disc: an unlimited boost in the ability to handle the disc in ways the game itself never intended. For example, pulling off instant 180° spins and instantly killing a downed soldier.
Cheat: any action that, through tools external to the game, substantially alters its functioning in order to gain an advantage.

I never said it’s OK, I said it’s common knowledge, so nobody should act all surprised. I see it as a plague, but I’m also realistic and I’ve come to terms with it
Its a game-breaking optimisation, making it little different than a cheat imo.
It’s cheating, no matter what the poll result says. Full stop. What can be discussed is the impact of the cheat (for example, a custom crosshair gives far less advantage than an aim bot.)
FoFor example, I will say about myself personally. As I wrote above, I use the DPI toggle button for more responsive disk management. I can remove the DPI switch button, in this case, for me, the disk will turn into a cross bolt in terms of control, with the ability to return, besides, when the disk hits the target, then it can be returned and damage again. I also note that when playing a private match, the predator does not tear its head off while lying down, sometimes the camera can freeze and the player cannot play in this match. A recumbent is constantly finished off with a predator’s weapon. Interestingly, this bug with the hanging of the punishment does not apply to long finishers.
It is interesting how PS players play with the disc and hit it well, that after the first hit, the player falls and another disc makes 2 turns and the person has no chance to survive.
like this post to show appreciation for the Predator’s bladed anti-field medic death frisbee of annihilation
Only if it is related with using macro, but mouse settings and customization of your own mouse button sensitivity of DPI is not cheat.
All have different mice, with different characteristics: sensor resolution, DPI switchability, polling rate, etc. Then you need everyone to play ball mice 😅 To be fair, without cheating the mouse.
Dude, are you for real? 😅 It’s not about if you change some kind of setting, it’s all about how you use it. Even a little kid could figure that out. The disc works completely off mouse sensitivity, so when you bump it up to crazy levels like 10k–12k DPI, it starts behaving in ways the game never meant it to. And honestly, that kind of DPI is useless anywhere else, so yeah—you gotta set a DPI switch on the mouse just for the disc.
It’s also not addressing the elephant in the room and remains and old discussion that goes in circles and it’s be gone over before
High DPI Disc is fucked, but remains to be one of the remaining tools for ridiculous team compositions such as field medic, recon tracker
Disc is fucked because of high damage capability and is strong because of fundamentally killing a fireteam member whilst mitigating damage possibly the most efficiently
Disc is a direct counter to fireteams nuance of positioning
High DPI Disc switch is on the verge of becoming technically a cheat whilst not adjusting the DPI at all still remains to be underlying poorly executed programming and implementation
Disc is best used as host and is highly sensitive to ping
Disc has not been fully defined which is interesting given its controversy
High DPI switch seems to be a softer exploit which is still cheating by technicality but it’s absolutely relevant because of the ratio of effort it takes to use a weapon more effectively vs the small adjustment required vs a users mechanical capabilities
There’s often arguments being overlooked but commonly mentioned with Disc vs Fireteam which is Predator has been comically fucked over historically
Another thing that should be mentioned is that disc even with console is still strong because of the conceptual idea of disc countering Fireteam position whilst mitigating damage
Turning with High DPI disc macro seem redundant but noteworthy as a additional user control capability
Really, the disc resides in shades of gray like many things here, no one is saying it’s ok but coming from you Mojo who is a Fireteam main seems to be lacking perspective and that’s coming from the guy who catches flying dinner plates of death like Riley Reid catches loads
There is also a problem with that pole which would entail that there is something inbetween optimization and cheat altogether regardless of the moral concern so many people adamantly become divisive to
We have many things to go compare and it’s not year 1-2 of the game anymore
Sorry also need to clarify
High DPI Disc without the switch not a cheat but with a DPI switch rides the line of being one, there was an game I had with you mojo where I wasn’t even adjusting dpi on mouse and you had a meltdown calling me a cheater when I was still learning the disc and it’s capabilities
Yes, I already know a cheat by technicality is still a cheat holy fuck
And yet, I don’t change my dpi at all as pred. Same settings for every weapon.
OH NOES, MUH CHEETZ
So much wasted text just to justify being an amoral fuck. You’ll never get that even if the game’s balance is broken, it still doesn’t excuse cheating.
Never said it was, that’s just the extent of your interpretation
Had to clarify dpi switch vs no dpi switch, wrote this all while taking a massive shit
If you don’t change DPI with a switch or another profile just fly disc I wouldn’t call it a cheat, although it’s a balance concern because of more extreme users like Ritigkt is good to be aware of the potential but mindful to those who do not make adjustments real time for better control
you think everything is cheating so shut it lmaooo
You recently kicked ass without me, and you called them cheaters as well. You’re all cheaters. Mouse and keyboard are an exploit. You call PS players cheaters. You’re just hilarious. 🤣
By the way, where is your joystick video?
Of course having a constant DPI isn’t cheating, Einstein. This game caps disc movement at 40% of adjusted mouse sensitivity. Sure, you can crank DPI up to 20,000 and lower your overall sensitivity to avoid insane turning speed, but that lowers disc sensitivity too, since it’s always capped at 40% of your base turning sensitivity.
The DPI switch lets you temporarily boost turning speed by +1000% (10× faster) specifically for disc control. It counts as cheating because the game itself caps disc speed at 40%.
