I definitely realize how easy it can be to spot a predator, and depending on classes people choose. You also don’t know where a pred is standing still on the ground, half the map away, cloaked and no thermal on. That’s what I consider normal gameplay.
I also have this crown next to my name when I join a match, which shows I rarely lose, so I think that’s where they get their cue from.
That’s not what it means…oh my goodness.

That’s how it goes when they camp after reinforcements. At least they made it interesting, and I like breaching camped structures. Inside the caves are even more fun.
You shouldn’t be taking any damage if they’re camped in a building. Trap the entrances, throw some audio devices, and take momentary shots at them from outside the door. Plasma caster pistol is best, but regular plasma caster works in a pinch. Just aim at the ceiling above them, if you don’t have a direct line of sight. Don’t forget to switch up which entrance you’re firing from, so they don’t know which to aim at.
Been there, done that. I know how to handle campers. Thank you. I’m capable of assessing risk, and knowing whether or not I’m outmatched. If I wanna go in with all the smoke, I will.
Then you shouldn’t be taking damage from them, much less nearly 8k. Might be 100-200 at most. If you got them trapped, they’re scared. Let out some roars and really freak them out.
It doesn’t matter if I took 800 or 8K in damage, when I know I’ll beat them in the end. It was 3 and out in under two minutes, before reinforcements. The match itself was 13+ minutes, bc I’m in no rush, when I know they’re not going anywhere. That tells me they’re going to lose, unless they get lucky on a short mission and someone escapes. If I’m potentially waiting ages to get into another lobby, I might as well get the most out of it.
Might as well die, more like it. 8k in damage means you were almost dead multiple times. Idk. I just prefer to win hard, and barely take any damage. Leave the FT speechless at the credit screen. To each their own. If they’re that bad, I’ll just do knife fights with them.
Tbh I only second winded once, tryna get all four down at once in the structure, when I downed 3 out of 4. Someone released a lucky grenade. Doesn’t matter, the game is concluded.
