Braindead argument, on your part. Absolutely braindead. No matter what you do, no matter how many traps you throw or use your little pistol, you’re going to take damage from camped players, especially in certain areas. Is his damage taken high? Yes. But we don’t know more context; where were they camping? Did they have ammo and health bags? Did they have insanely good aim and response time since they were PC? All we know is Deez essentially team wiped, let them reinforce, and they held the spot. Deez even admits he was dicking with them the whole time. That alone justifies the high damage, he’s not trying to force a win, he already has it, he’s in control, he’s just fucking with them and probably giving them a game worth playing rather than going from infil to main menu in less than five minutes.
Like im reading through your replies and you sound like some nerdy ass knowitall talking to a child about completing a task, when said child already knows how to complete the task and way better than you do.

Maybe I should post a video to show how it’s done. Unless you’re pure melee or love knife fights, you really don’t need to take that much damage. Means you were almost dead 7 times. Anyway, at least he got the win.

I mean, I’ll still toy with them, enter knife fights, help them to objectives, etc. I get that part. Unfortunately lately it’s just a bloodbath, no matter how novice or skilled they are. Even when I toy with them, it’s always minimizing damage taken, so as to not give them experience points. I certainly don’t want the pred to nearly die a half dozen times. That would seem stressful.
If you find challenges stressful, or even feel it’s a disservice to yourself, doing your best to make the match enjoyable for everyone involved, then this game isn’t for you. You should play single player campaigns like Halo or some shit.
I toxically love challenges to a fault. Won’t back down from anything. Unfortunately that means bashing through them, no matter how small or large. The extent of making it enjoyable for everyone, is pretty much agreeing to the FT’s requests. It is a predator game after all. I’m not sure how enjoyable it should be for them to be hunted, mostly.
This isn’t a pissing contest, but I didn’t get to 999 in under a year’s time, without knowing how the XP system works. You need to take in that damage and allow them to get their XP by other means as well, then kill them to get maximum XP in pred matches - upwards of 10k to damn near 20k XP per match.
Yeah I used to get 12-20k every match, but am at lvl 212 now. I don’t see the point in gaining XP. I have all the weapons and skins.

Respectfully, I don’t need a lvl 212 to instruct me on how to control the narrative versus weak players.
That’s fine. I did use to go 60-1 kdr in most games, so have a few tactics up my sleeve.
