I figured out why PS5’s YouTube videos looks so fuzzy, and saturated with brightness. You gotta switch the capture format to .mp4 instead of the default .webm format. Just a thought.
No. Because the video resolution is 1080p, in such a case, you get the AVC1 codec and poor video quality. If you make a video or stream in 1440p, you will get the VP09 codec and good video quality.
I’m not on about the 1080p artifacts, just the lack of contrast.
This is in mp4 on PS5, and is a bit clearer with the corrected contrast.
I misunderstood you from the beginning. I don’t have a console, so it’s not clear what I’m talking about. I have friends who play and stream this game from PS5, the video quality, well, let’s just say wishes for the best.
Sadly on PS5, you can’t capture 4K with MP4, and locked in to suffer the burden of .webm format.
In this video, I can see that the “full color range” is enabled, so that the image looks like through a cloudy glass. The color range must be “limited”.
Does this mean that the stream/stream will work in 4k with webm format?
