Yh I don’t think I’ll bother playing as Oni again unless they fix the FPS drops with his cloak. It’s just cancerous trying to land shots against good players while your game is moving at like 10fps. By the time you see where your shots landed, your health is gone.

As for the other stuff, that’s why you ban Support, Dante & Leader spec in Privates. Anyone still using that stuff in 2025 is just a clown that needs to work on their skill issues. Everyone should just play less broken shit so they can actually have fun & not make every game a tedious sweatfest where they play in the most efficient but boring ways possible. I don’t find it engaging to be forced to sit miles away sniping with Plasma from across the map & throwing Disc every 2 seconds because the Fireteam are abusing broken classes so they don’t even have to try & can just insta-pick any downed teammates while deleting your health with guns that have zero recoil & 17 damage buffs to already overpowered weapons.

Matches are more engaging when the Pred isn’t forced to rely on Disc. I prefer using Combistick anyway. If you rely on Disc too much you just get overly reliant on it & can’t land shots with anything else. I also don’t want to play an S Tier class every game. It just gets extremely repetitive having to run Scar, Bionic or Celtic every match. If you’re running Smart Disc, your class doesn’t matter as much anyway in comparison to when you’re running Combistick. I’ve beaten teams of Dantes & Supports in Privates as Falconer & Chopper both with & without Smart Disc. It’s not like I have anything more to prove & neither should anyone else. The game is in such a ridiculous state of unbalance that there’s no point in caring about tryharding. If anything we should be spitballing modifiers for a Private Match custom that makes the game more balanced.

Either way yh different classes will suit different playstyles. I prefer to be aggressive with Combistick throws followed up by Plasma Pistol shots, but I also prefer having Bear Traps which is why I may prefer running Mr Black or Cleopatra over the likes of Amazon or Wolf for example. You don’t have to run the same classes every game though. Just ban broken shit on the Fireteam side, otherwise they’ll be breezing to casual wins while you’re sitting there sweating your balls off to get a single kill, and it’s not your fault, it’s just the way the game is designed. So, we as players have to take things into our own hands to change things to be a bit more balanced & enjoyable for both sides in Privates.

lol I’m the opposite I find it boring as shit if the fireteam doesn’t bring atleast two supports or field medic. Maybe it’s just competitiveness for me because it makes the matches more interesting and increases the stakes I’ve played with field medics and many private matches without rules and i just simply don’t care what people use. to be honest if the classes aren’t in the game it feels wrong. That might be a crazy take but I just find it more entertaining that way. There was a time where I would use combi stick and bow and it was really entertaining to be fair but the weapons got ruined in the update by the damage nerf they did and also reducing the bow arrow capacity I stopped using them and sticked to disk which can also be fun if you land your disk hits. It’s up to you really if you don’t like it just don’t play and that’s fine. though you gotta admit it does feel great when you beat a good team with like infinite and Mike while there’s multiple supports and field medics though it can be frustrating.

You may be slightly masochistic if that’s the case.

I mean, yh it obviously feels good beating people when they use broken classes but it also feels good beating players who are actually good enough to not use broken shit in privates, and I know which one I have a more fun time with. I can’t be bothered to tryhard at such a shitty-designed game with zero balance anymore. I already proved I can beat several Supports, Dantes etc. In privates back when I wasn’t even as good as I am currently, so I don’t see why I should bother going through it all just to prove something again when everyone already knows I’m capable of winning against it anyway.

I used to get pissed off playing against Field Medics etc. In privates but nowadays they just bore me to death.

I’m the same. I don’t like using the disc, it feels kinda boring. I also hate going against preds that use it, so I don’t wanna be that annoying pred that just throws the disc every two seconds.

It’s more fun for both sides when the pred uses anything besides the disc lol. Even going against an Amazon pred is more enjoyable than fighting a disc pred.

Yh it just gets boring and/or irritating for both sides. As Pred, I find it boring myself & also annoying because you’ll have to chew through a dozen Flashbangs & ACIGs most of the time before you even get chance to land hits with it & even when you do, the Disc just goes through people half the time without even damaging them or gets stuck on a random invisible object. Plus if you just start relying on Disc too much you’re not going to be very versatile or be able to win without it. It doesn’t help you improve with anything much if at all.

As Fireteam, it’s boring because most Preds just get their Disc cancelled every 3 seconds by ACIGs, Flashbangs, or someone chasing them, and all they tend to do is throw the Disc all the time so you either complete the mission easily without having much actual engagement with the Pred, particularly if the Pred isn’t getting many hits with the Disc, or you get caught off-guard by the Disc & get one/two-tapped because you can’t hear it coming with all the AIs shooting at you.

It just gets either boring or annoying very quickly like most things in this game.

Amazon Ghost Hook mashers are just purely annoying though. I would rather face a Disc Pred tbh. At least if they’re boring you can exfil fast & at least the Disc actually takes some skill. Amazon Ghost Hook mashers will literally just mash the unparriable heavy attack on you while you’re solo with randoms & then teabag you or spam “Want Some Candy” when they finally land a lucky heavy hit on you acting like they did something impressive & like they wouldn’t have been turned into a green paste on the Jungle floor if you had your team with you or even just one or two squad mates.

That being said, hook and dual swords both feel decent if you don’t just spam the heavy hits but wait for a parry to land first, then use the heavy hit cuz you’ll be lined up already. Only part of melee that feels decent.

It depends on the pred. If the pred is good with the disc, the match is going to be boring because he’ll be bullying the fireteam the entire time. You’re gonna have to run and dodge the disc 24/7.

For Amazon, I’m talking about people that use the pistol and combi with her. Since she has a lot of health, she can engage the fireteam for longer and get a down easier than other preds. It’s a bit annoying to deal with her because of her health, but I find matches against these types of preds more fun than the disc users.

lol you should just combine them Amazon with disk makes your experience as predator way better if you don’t get frame drops. Maybe that might be over kill for some people but i don’t know fireteam deserves no chances.

Eh I get what you mean. Disc is just frustrating for either side for different reasons.

Amazon is good but she can still be melted if the Fireteam just land all their shots & if you’ve got a good team. Matches against Amazons running Combi/Pistol are more engaging than Disc Preds tho yes.

I’d be upset too if I lost 4 times in a row and rage quitted for most of them infinite literally had to had to convince you to play. I get why you play with the people you do you’re simply not at a level high enough to even have a chance. comparing bmw and jack to infinite and Mike is crazy delusional but that’s not surprising coming from you.
