Potato influx?

Ok, have to admit, despite my disappointments with the lacklustre new patch, I haven’t lost a match as Pred (Elder) since the update. However this might be down to what seems to me to be an increase in new/potato players. I had one squad who were running 3 OWLFs and Dante which were a bit tricky, but overall I’ve not had to alter my play style at all yet.

I think if I encounter a pretty good squad it would be a different story, but then that was the case before this patch.

So I give thanks to all the potatoes out there (especially the vocal rage quitters which I’ve also experienced an increase in) for keeping the hunt alive for me.

It definitely seems like it. I’ve been getting garbage teammates today. The kind that die within the first minute and rage quit. And a fair share of default Hunters too. But it’s good though because it means more people are buying the game and that’s more money to support the game. Too bad these newbies will be discouraged to play the game later on though.

I use bow and elder sword (though I’ve been using the shoulder cannon a lot more the past month). Pouch, impenetrable, adrenal, bear traps, audio decoys.

Use a highly mobile scout-like play style with a mix of ranged and fleeting melee attacks.

Ok, thanks man. My bow doesn’t work, but I mix it up with melee and range as well. I switched to Alpha and did much better, but you know my heart is with Elder. 😂
I’ll add adrenaline boost. That’s one I haven’t put on

I have lost one match this month, it was against a four-man, one field medic, and three supports and fast objective hit almost every bow shot if every team abused this it would be a hell hole.

Games on sale I think there’s a lot of new players. Been seeing this past couple weeks.

You can usually tell if they’re new players on the scorecard because they’re all running Assault with an occasional Scout and no Specialisations.

Yeah, have seen a fair share of default Hunters. I try to hold back on melting them, try and give them a tough game but I’m not going after them when they withdraw to rethink or heal.

The games on sale at Playstore, so people are probably testing it. I doubt they’ll be that impressed.

I havent played Pred since the update.
Cost increase of Impenetrable kinda messed up my Alpha perk set, now I literally need that one point to be able to run the same build I had before.

Now I gotta choose something else and change my playstyle a bit, which sucks.
Been there already with CH.
