Using gear like bear trap, decoy, movement sensor cant fast switch to any another weapon by pressing on number. Can be switched by using the weapon circle only.
Easy to reproduce just choose bear trap and try to press any number that has binded up to weapon
At least for me, it seems that if you switch to gear (in my case Motion ge) and do not deploy any, Predator can switch back to a weapon with a weapon bind.
If I do throw down a Motion Detector, then using a weapon bind Predator will not switch to the weapon immediately. If I tap Q (weapon wheel) then the Predator will be able to switch weapons again with the weapon binds.
I haven’t tried bear traps yet but I’ve noticed the weapon switch animation with hot keys seems slower than using the weapon wheel.
I don’t know if this is a bug or if its to compensate for the lack of hot keys for playstation players.
Dpad selection on PS4 is in no way slower than hotkey selection on PC.
It is literally one press.
If anything the forced use of the wheel for certain items on PC causes it to be a disadvantage.
