Iv a ton of hours and videos as pred as people get better at fireteam I had to get better and more patient as pred.
It starts at the lobby screen if I see all PC players I know I’m going to be in for a really tough match not thst an all PS4 squad hasn’t killed me easily because they most certainly have.
The predator is underpowered if all squad members stay together and are on coms so off the top of my head I’m going to go tru the predators weapons and suggest improvements.
First combistick is the only weapon that can kill a drifter quik enough at melee range if I net a good player who’s trying to parry me I want him dead before he escapes or his friends show up to stop me getting the quick claim combistick is the only weapon I fell can do this against good teams with good parries.
The club is absolutely awful when I read the description I got hyped I was thinking cool it might stun them or kill them in less hits than the combistick who knows it wasn’t available in the demo man I was in for a shock the club and sword need work big time same with the hand held plasma pistol all these need work big time.
Smart disc I dnt know much about because on PS4 it’s super buggy used it once in the trial couldn’t use any other weapon after had to leave match used it one time since release and I changed my fov so no thanks I’ll he just keep reading the posts about it and hope for improvements before I try it again.
The bow should one shot recon characters or low hp builds with a fully charged head shot if it did I’d use it all the time but it doesn’t the only combination that works for me against hood players is net gun combistick I really enjoy throwing the combistick at ppl aswel in three player games I’ll always breakout the scout and try long shots every chance I get.
I use motion detectors and auto decoys I found it super effective to use these when I know the fireteam are completing an objective with increased ai it adds extra pressure just chuck em on top and around the fireteam and watch to see who breaks away first are they all following one guy iv observed a lot with this combination.
I used bear traps in the trail they need work aswell if someone is caught in a bear trap they should absolutely be punished I’d recommend a slow down in movement speed and or they cannot be healed for a minute and they are marked that would make for some good scout game play imo the scout needs total reworking kit wise having the lowest hp and least amount of kit just ain’t worth the benefits at least for me.
The whole reinforcement thing need work and to be fair or it needa to go I feel if this kind of thing was never in a BR we wouldn’t be seeing it here either.iv seen some solid suggestions on this forum when I fireteam member is respawning the predator can call or fall back to his ship restock on supplies giving three healing kits and a complete restock on all supplies it’s only fair imo.
I feel the devs are really going with the dbd approach of keeping the four happier than the one only makes sense if pred was op at launch nobody would want to play fireteam even with pred busted and underwhelming against good groups most ppl still just wanna play some pred and get the feel for the game as predator.
