Pred melee lock on

Has anyone else had a guy in a bear trap thrown the combi stick through him hop down to give him the claw when he is directly in front of you and you swing it aims at a ft member your not even facing?

I wonder, do games with fire and melee weapons really need that lock on mechanic today? Sometimes i wish i had more control over how and where i move while swinging a weapon, instead of zooming around.

Exactly its a huge pain

Lock on melee is literally the worst and is meant for consoles that can’t control their swing direction/view in third person. If this game had first person melee lock on wouldn’t be needed.
