Pred needs more weapons

I honestly believe the pred needs to be able to bring more then 2 weapons.

The reason is once the FT figures out what weapons you got they have your number pretty easy cause each pred only has 2 weps, the PC and WB. Yah the FT gets the same load out but they get that x4

i think the pred should be able to bring more then just 2 weapons into the field. This would add more variety to the play style of the pred.

I have seen it a lot were the FT changes their entire tactics for the game once they know what 2 weapons you brought and depending on their skill level this can make it impossible to win.

even just 3 weapons i think would make a big difference.

Predator already has 4 Weapons compared to a Fireteam Member’s Weapon count of 2, 3 if you want to count Combat Knife.

Predator comes with Wristblades and Plasma Caster always usable, regardless of the additional 2 weapons you choose in Customization. You can already pick can choose with those two weapons. Bow + Sword for a mix between close and far, or say Spear and Net for a Trapper Loadout.

i am not talking about gear. i am talking only weapons. the fire team has a lot more weapons, a lot more firepower at their disposal in each match and they can switch their weapons mid match. The pred can not. if you go by your count here. pred has 2 weps, pc and wb. that’s 4 weps. each FT member has 2 weps and the knife. but lets just count the knife itself as 1 wep for the whole team just to make it easier.

That leaves the pred with 4 weps in the match. the fireteam with atleast a variety of 8 different weapons that can either be long range, short range, mid range or melee. but lets not forget that if they figure out the pred favors melee they can always switch their weapon at a wep crate for a different one that may be more close range damage.

The pred just has a lot less to work with then the whole fire team. He is balanced for 2 members of the fireteam currently in a lot of stats and other things but not a 4 man team.

This allows the fireteam to literally hard counter the pred once they know the preds two weapons if they know how to do it.

Sure, but that’s only because they’re playing as a team and sticking out for eachother; ideally. Then the Predator will have to adapt and counter the FT accordingly. If Firepower is a issue for you, sneak around them. Find that sniper looking for you in another direction. Find that guy who’s going full Rambo and trying to find you in the bushes and bob him. It doesn’t really matter if FT has more weapons when Predator’s own weapons are simply more powerful, and even then you can just move around and engage them elsewhere or later. If you’re favoring Melee as your first engagement or even early on as Predator, you’re doing something wrong.

Weapon Crates? Eh, sure; but normally you don’t depend on getting a good weapon out of em.

No. 2 is fine. An extra perk slot for everyone would be great. No change to values, just 1 extra. Even DBD has 4 points.
