The cloak does not hide predator’s thermals, like predator’s tech only…
In predator 2 we saw the people who tried to capture living predator but the human advance tech didn’t work properly on him…
But the technique they used was to capture light particles, and u saw that most of them bounce off and shimmer from their vision.
So now idk how predator cloak works…

lol lizards still have body heat. They’re warm unless you put them in an environment that isn’t warm.
Cold-blooded doesn’t literally mean cold it just means they need external heat. I.e. preds have thermal netting so there should be a shimmer there if nothing else

Well puts on science glasses technically the cloak has to emit some radiation. Obviously, in the visible band, it bends the light and possibly makes the materials transparent. However, if the predator is going to not cook from the heat generated from its body and its tech it has to emit radiation somewhere in the EM spectrum. It could also be cloaked in IR but, its eyes must be visible.
The reason is the mask must collect IR photons and absorb them to create an image that the predator can see. If the light was bent or passed through then the Predator wouldn’t be able to see.
There is a lot of other science as to why the Predator cloak is basically impossible, but some suspension of disbelief can be used here.
