The movie was so bad and the existence of that predator is an insult to the franchise. We fell in love with predator because it hunts for sport and takes trophies. This dumb ass thing canonically kills and takes spines just so it can take DNA and splice into itself so it can be stronger. It literally is a plot hole in the lore of predator
No i fell in love with Predator because its a Monster with Tech we dont understand and uses it too hunt. in both movies the predator was hunting… or at least supper predator was.( fuck you im not calling it uber that sounds dumb as fuck for what this thing is) a predator built to hunt predators that sounds like some hard core shit if you ask me.
It literally is the Uber predator lol. I agree it does sound dumb. Cause it’s fuckin dumb. However you feel about it, this predator literally rewrites why they hunt. Which is just AWFUL. No the predator has laws too. in the comics they always did in Predator 2 it was mentioned in 2010’s Predator it was Sorta brought up with the idea of killing the OG 1987 predator by stringing him up on the totem. but all the 2018’s movie did was the rouge predator was stealling a weapon to give to the humans to defend them selfs in breaking the predator code of never give out the Tech and let it fall in the hands of the Humans the elder predators Built the SUPER PREDATOR ( its not dumb, only the name is. i’m never calling it uber, plus what makes your Super predator “Super”? he sounds and looks Different? what does that thing do in the movie or in the comics that makes him worthy of the name Super predator?) to hunt down the Rouge Predator. so yea still fits, the only part that doesnt is the kid being some sorta of god some how and the predator wants him for his Genes witch THAT PART is Dumb as hell i agree.
They never mention splicing dna in the other movies at all. I hate it, if you like it that’s cool. It’s subjective. So your opinion your opinion. But it’s definitely 0 doubt a massive retcon of the lore and no after the fact comics can change that.

They were bigger than the normal predators. Not by a lot. But slightly bigger. And they hunted the normal sized ones. So the “Uber predator” created by Shane black, not predator lore, was basically a rip on them in the first place but just made more bonkers
Dude the Right holders made that movie fuck if they threw in spiderman it would be cannon its pretty much there lore to wright so yea its cannon your not the one that can pick what is or isnt cannon.
and ok so its slightly better that doesnt sound very “Super” to me so i disagree i wouldve givin them a more fitting name like Stalker predators or Wolf Predators, not Super predators that name belongs to something that is SO MUCH BETTER then predators that it earns its right to be called “super” but being slightly better? so i gotta A+ in chem and my Friend got an A does that make me the Super kid and hes just the Normal kid?

Yea on that i agree that part was dumb but the opening idea was Cool a Predator Built to kill other predators as some sorta bad ass Predator Police. the dna thing is dumb but the Policing idea is great
