Yeah dude ok that I’m for! I like that a lot. Just hated the dna thing
Predalien
yea i agree im not saying the movie was good the movie was dog shit but the Villan is kick ass gotta give em that
they’ve only included one of 5 vision modes in this game, which I find disappointing
i agree
I think the Predalien had a very cool design. I don’t like it’s ability to by pass the Face-Hugger stage of its life cycle by assaulting pregnant women. It was lazy writing to give them more active threats.
I’d much rather it be hidden away as a playable Easter egg, by introducing Face-Huggers with the stated intent of them infecting a FT members to produce Xeno’s, eventually a Bug will get on a hurt/mask less Pred and produce a Predalien. When this happens, the PredAlien will continue to be played by the unlucky/lucky player. When it removes FT members, they can Spawn back in as regular Pred’s or FT members to kill the abomination. Ideally the time counter would be suspended and it would work kinda like King of the hill with the 4 non-Predalien characters able to re-equip and try again, the Predaliens goal is to kill them and rake up a score or death tally. The Predalien regenerates HP slowly and heals when Claiming to balance it out.
I think there are ways to make it fun to have these elements in the game, it doesn’t have to make everyone happy.
Agreeeeee with this but for the last one r u talking bout a super pred or ultimate pred like the dna spliced one ?
no
yea, it’s rather lackluster… the heartbeat sensor is extremely unpolished as well
Of any and all Alien content this is the one I’d be most willing to put up with. The Predalien doesn’t exist without the Predator and so if they by chance got the ability to do so I wouldn’t be against the developers doing one.
I can imagine it’d end up being it’s own class that had weapons disabled in favor of the basics. Just being able to melee, sprint, and regen health though in this case exclusive to the pigs. Maybe even spitting acid if the plasmacaster functionality simply had to be there. I wouldn’t be against them doing this. You could also probably have an altered thermal vision with some tweaked colors to resemble the sensory abilities from the old AVP games. The acid blood would probably be the best thing to balance around. It’s got the speed of the scout but is as strong as the berserker. So the cavieate being it can’t heal unless it finds a pig and thus has to hit everyone in one life.
If this was the Xenomorph, no. But the Predalien I think would be fine given it’s more overt connection to the Predator.
Im talking the Dna Spliced one
Sounds dope for a gamemode👍
The Predalien was adapted for the movies and was changed. In the movies it didn’t have acid blood and could reproduce in a bastardized way.
The actual lore was they are a extreamily aggressive alien that as it kills things produces a hormone that builds up in its body. After a wile this causes them to molt, get larger, stronger and deadlier. Eventually they would be strong enough to challenge the queen and kill her. But a pred alien could not reproduce. When this happened the whole hive would attack the pred alien and usually kill it. Pred aliens were used as shock troopers against creatures that were a extreame danger to a hive.
And yes per the lore they had acid blood. I am a fan of pred, alien, and AVP but the movies did not do the actual lore and comics justice.
indeed
Still think as far as authenticity goes this game is a dumpsterfire
true
I think Predalien would be a cool addition to the game for variety sake imo
PHG at this point is in desperate need of content lol
it’s as skinny as the scout rn
If they could perfect the A.I, then yes.
Hunting the Predalien/Abomination as a Predator or group of Predators would be an amazing mode. Or Predator vs Predalien vs FT.
Its the ultimate stain on a clans honour, a hunt/target that pretty much comes before any other priority as its an abomination of a culture they are so proud of.
Opening cinematic, The Predator is running the tree tops, a large bulky figure clambers through trees nearby and pounces the Predator. Both fall to the ground. The Predator gets his first look at his opponent, the Predalien. Predator roars and powers up his caster, the Predalien recognizes the weapon and damages the caster with its tail. They both engage in grueling melee combat with parrys and deflects from both sides, tail, blades and blades clashing. Then the FT emerges through the treeline, guns blazing at both targets. They leap away in opposite directions.
The hunt begins.
