You mean like every other movie that pushed the same marketing stunt, that people said to wait for before judging (Ghostbusters 2016, birds of prey, live action mulan, terminator dark fate, captain marvel, Charlieās Angels, Disney Star Wars trilogy etc etc etc)

Every movie with a female lead is not inherently trash. You do make a good point.
It will depend entirely on who they put in charge.
If itās someone that only wants to push a ideological narrative, itāll be trash.
If itās someone that wants to make a relatable character that has strengths AND flaws and overcomes the challenge they face through growth, it will be good, even if the lead character is a 19 year old female.
