Spears and physics and AI. A lot of spears and physics. And AI.
Carrion is also good but its short, rain world’s got different routes through the game. Sort of metroidvania survival, AI gets permadeathed once you lethally spear them so enemies are always adapting for the next ingame day, also you can befriend pretty much everything with enough food. But they can also die permanently and get replaced by something stronger. I forget how the whole lineage system works but dont be deterred by the artstyle. Basically the longer your playthrough is the stronger the enemies and you have a randomized amount of time to progress each day.
Pinning limbs and those limbs actually being disabled is the greatest physics platformer mechanic ever

By the term “was”, I’m guessing he’s passed. Sorry to hear that. I hope you or another family member was able to preserve some of his knowledge and experience and stories. Itd be a shame to lose it.

Not personally. My grandfather’s would probably have cussed them out if they had. But, I’ve seen the footage from the death camps, and listened to the survivors, seen footage of the Nuremberg trials. It happened.

It for sure happened , I think the people who claim it didn’t get confused for the people , that claim it didn’t happen exactly as it was portrayed.
