And your missing my point, I paid 60+ tax just so I could have the 87 skin, it would be an insult to my hard earned money to just give it away to a bunch of people crying cause they want it.
As someone who pre-ordered and got the 87 Predator mask & skin, I would have absolutely no problem that anyone could have it, whether from the locker fields or a dlc.
When you pre-order, it’s not like you spent extra money like the people who buy deluxe editions. You just happened to be there at the right time, but it’s not fair for the players who arrive late at the party.
I think we should all be able to get any item at any point in time, whether it comes in a dlc, a lootbox or a specific hard challenge.
I don’t like this mentality of “oooh look at me I’m special, I got something most people won’t have because they didn’t pre-order”. F**** this.
I generally don’t pre-order. I pre-ordered this one because of the 87 mask & skin and wanted to use it day one, but I would be p**** off if there was never a chance to get it.
That’s the kind of thing that ruins the game for collectors, really.
There are a lot of people who don’t pre-order that are gonna play the game way longer & try to unlock everything than some people who pre-ordered and will leave the game because they’ll be bored.
A game should reward any player who invests time in the game and is passionate about it no matter when they buy it, period.

I also pre ordered and have the 87 skin, and would be totally cool if it was made available to everyone, whether its paid or by another means. In all honesty, I’m totally wanting it to be made available as then it’s a good excuse for @IllFonic to add an option to allow those who have the 87 hunter, the option to choose skin patterns and armour shaders so all in all, I’m totally ok with that!

With Friday the 13th, you got an imaginary Jason with the pre-order so it wasn’t that big a deal. You could still get the original Jasons.
But having the 87 original Predator skin as a pre-order bonus is retarded imo.

Oh well its Illfonics lose, my cousin refuses to buy the game hes a die hard 87 pred movie fan, so im assuming there are many of him out there! I dont care theres big games coming out and illfonic notices this so their way to attrack people is summer sells lol no 87 skin = no chance. Lmfao.

Yes, quite stupid on their part. Thing is, if they marketed it as a bonus rather than an exclusive they could have given themselves extra money. Preorder free or pay later sort of thing and everyone who wants him is happy.
