Here’s my rant! I’m a big fan of Predator in general and I have also played Friday The 13th. With that being said, this game has several issues that are pretty frustrating and tho I don’t tend to write these , I will cuz I really want this game to shine. So here we go…

They need to create a more suspenseful atmosphere to make the Fire team feel hopeless like in Jason, they need to create that intimidating Fear Factor. I don’t get that sense of fear like in Jason, that sense of vulnerability. I know this is not a horror game but the Predator when it first came out was a scary thing to see.

They need a map at night and give the Fire team either flashlights or NVG’s. Make it scary…buajajajajaj. We need more SUSPENSE !

They need to improve certain game mechanics. Sometimes as the Predator you have the perfect killing opportunity but you have no crosshairs when performing a Melee so when you manage to jump down (if you do it right without sending you somewhere else or glitching) you can’t accurately hit your target since its so easy to miss your target with a melee weapon and you just end up hitting air and swinging your weapon like frantic predator meanwhile getting ripped by a pistol. Since when can a pistol do so much damage to The Predator???

The Parkour needs to get tweaked, sometimes you will miss the branches or not even acknowledge the command to jump on a tree. Also, when trying to run away from an attack its like the game doesn’t recognize the Leap Command when you’re on the ground and trying to retreat. SUPER FRUSTRATING!!!

Predator can be easily taken down even with increased health. A freaking pistol does ridiculous amounts of damage against Predator! That is just unheard of. This doesn’t happen in Jason which makes Jason seem almost invincible thus creating more sense of fear and power. Also, why is the blood spatter so freaking huge??? Somebody give this Predator a blood transfusion! Moving on…

More maps!!! There are only 3 maps. Really??? Also, we need other game modes like Hostage Rescue or Split Objectives. Something that forces Fire teams to work together but also have to split off to give them that sense of fear of having to separate to complete part of a task.

Waiting time is ridiculous at least on PS4. Still waiting as I type this…sigh.

Matchmaking needs to happen to balance it out between new and experienced players. I’m Rank 41 and when you find Fireteams that know what they’re doing the tables get turned pretty quickly and the match ends in less than 10 mins after you waited 20 mins to play.

Its almost impossible to play with a friend online and there’s no way of playing as Predator with a friend or group of friends unless you do Private match. Not like GTA where you can still be the host of a match and not have to be in a private match. Just to give you an example.

Give The Predator the ability to Destroy the Reinforcement Radio or the freaking chopper! All that work only to end up with a Full Squad after your on the brink of death. Yeah that one right there needs to happen guys. Maybe even add a boat or a truck after you blow up the chopper and have the fire team gather parts to fix it in order to escape. Kinda like in Jason.

Also, since when can soldiers block or parry the Predators melee attacks like they are Neo from The Matrix. I literally hacked and slashed at this guy and he blocked almost all my hits without breaking a sweat. WHAAAAAAT!?!?! When did that ever happen in any of the movies???

Overall this a decent game with a lot of potential and I like that you guys stick as close as possible to its essence like you guys did in Jason, but for this one its missing that Predator intimidating factor like you see in the movie. You start the match feeling like an invincible bad ass Predator only to end up running and fearing for your life cuz the game is so ridiculously unbalanced that even a pistol can take you down. Never got that impression from the movie. In the movie, the Predator toys with the soldiers like a cat playing with a mouse but that’s not the case here. I still have hopes and I’m rooting for you guys!
