Predator Audio Recordings

(I know I already posted this on General Discussion, but I found it more suitable possibly over here. Sorry for double post but hey it’s a idea and I wanted to share it with Illfonic.)

Okay so I know the devilish Red OWLF Recordings are hard enough not only to find, but also carry through the mission without dying to the Predator.

However why don’t we make it more Interesting for not only Predator Mains but also Fire Team mains, like setting certain challenges for the Predator like how Batman (in his games) has to do certain things to be given a high score while in game and when accomplishing said scores they obtain not only a larger amount of XP and in game Credits, but also a Predator Audio recording that can have subtitles opening up to lore about the species. Hell to make it awesome they should be set for each class & gender for the Predator that way more light is shown on the Predators culture as a whole.

As for the Fire Team, their job has to be alittle but harder at times. For not only must all members of the team stay alive (Even after calling Reinforcements), they must:

•Kill the Predator.
•(If Set) Disarm the Self destruct.
•Keep the Predators body in Perfect condition for even one hit count as a mission failure.

Now you might be asking, what will the Fireteam get from doing this? Well not only do you get Predator points of XP and in game credits, but you also get the ability of the OWLF translating what the Predators are saying possibly by Agent Keyes Voice, talking about the Predators.

It’s more of a win win scenario for both parts of the player groups. I know it probably sounds stupid but hey, if we can get special guest characters with enough detailed backgrounds to be labeled canon…I don’t think it sounds too crazy. So what do you guys think?

Ever since illfonic tried to introduce challenges for the pred (weekly or daily), the pred queues drastically went up 15 minutes + on console.

The issue with how illfonics game works, if they give any more incentive to play the predator, people will begin to complain about the wait times again.

I love this idea, I just feel the devs have hit a stagnant rock bottom with producing for this game and minimizing the amount of complaining they hear, until they somehow can make folks happy or agree on some level of how their game functions.

Unfortunately they are on holiday now till the 4th and our next suggested drop is for February.

Add it to the increasingly big list of things they could do, but will most definitely avoid to do.

Yeah I remember the time they did that, I know their not gonna do it (if not the Predator), but at least the fireteam since they have the hardest job of all which is not only killing the predator, but for some reason the AI’s have become more blood thirsty and it’s almost harder to defend a Predator body to keep it in perfect conditions now. I just feel like it would be more rewarding I guess.

Not saying your ideas will fall on deaf ears, just keep an incredible list going and maybe when we all see some action from the devs, then they could deserve our input instead of just stockpiling our ideas to possibly never be used :)

Will do then, I actually have a lot of ideas. They may not be bug fixes or anything like that, instead it’s more of what can either bring new players in, possibly old players back, and just a over all fun time.
