I don’t hate him. He’s just extremely overrated, and he isn’t stronger than his brothers like everyone thinks. I’ve also never really understood why everyone liked him so much. I mean yeah sure he has his moments & everything but he isn’t as interesting as the likes of Mr Black, Jungle Hunter, Crucified, or even his two older brothers Celtic & Chopper.

Why? Because he had zero screentime & died first? The exact same thing would’ve happened to Scar if he was in that situation instead of Chopper.

Chopper looked the coolest but I mean he still got shit on. Scar did alright in the queen fight. Wolf would have kicked super preds ass, if jungle hunter really made an effort he could’ve done something too. Feral is cool to if he didn’t have the iq of a rock, but he is raw as shit, if feral had some skill he could be a unit.
Honestly scar, keltic, and chopper are all shit they move like a neca toy.

Yh he got stealthed by Grid due to a lack of spatial awareness. Scar had the same problem, Xenomorphs got the drop on him numerous times. Celtic was the most capable of all 3 Brothers.
For a Young Blood yes. He would’ve died within seconds if Alexa Woods wasn’t there though.
In a 1v1 he would beat any of the 3 Super Predators pretty easily, but if they were to hunt him, and use strategy against him before 3v1ing him, Wolf wouldn’t stand much of a chance. Even if he were able to defeat the 3 Super Predators, he would be mortally wounded & he still wouldn’t make it off the planet alive because the Super Predators would’ve laced his ship with mines just like they did to Crucified’s ship. They are much smarter than we give them credit for.
Against the Super Predators? Not really. He wouldn’t have stood much more of a chance than Crucified. He is smarter & more experienced than Crucified though so he would probably last a little longer, but the Super Predators do quite literally get off on luring Jungle Hunters to the Game Preserve & toying with them before eventually torturing & killing them so.
He was a good brawler, but yeah he had about the same IQ as a fence post. He could beat Falconer, he would only beat Tracker in a H2H or Close Quarters fight, but he doesn’t stand a chance against Mr Black.
Yeah there is the Predators: Crucified motion comic that shows some of the final moments of him getting hunted by the Super Predators before getting strung up on the totem. There was also other BTS information that stated he came to the Game Preserve responding to a distress signal sent out by another Jungle Hunter, who the Super Predators had killed & allowed to send out this distress call as bait to lure in other Jungle Hunters. You can actually see the skull of this Jungle Hunter in the Super Predator camp earlier on in the movie, and the biomask that Noland is wearing was taken from that dead Jungle Hunter. Either way, Crucified initially ran into Tracker & one of his Hellhounds, and decided to run away, which is presumably when Mr Black & Falconer took chase while Tracker prepared the totem at the camp. Mr Black & Falconer pursued Crucified until he was forced to fight due to having seemingly nowhere to run. He dealt some damage to Falconer, before he retaliated by throwing him down a waterfall. Not long after Crucified dragged himself out of the water, he walked straight into a snare trap set by the Super Predators, and they shortly dragged him off to the camp before nailing him to the totem & giving him his namesake. You can find the motion comic on YT. It doesn’t show absolutely everything though.

With what is observed in your description wolf could have had a chance If placed in the same circumstances as crusfied. Mr black is the only one that’s skillful, falconers a joke, and tracker has no achievements.
Wolf is really the only movie pred who’s really worth a shit.

Wolf is actually pretty rash & doesn’t have particularly good composure for an Elite Rank. The Super Predators are also smarter than him, and if he is placed in exactly the same circumstance as Crucified, he is pretty much fucked:

The Super Predators would already know he has arrived on the Game Preserve Planet & they would instantly scout him with Falconer’s Drone

They would call back the Drone, realise he is an Elite Rank & they can’t afford to mess around, before beginning to coordinate a plan

They would stalk him, wait for him to leave his ship unattended, and lace it with remote mines

They would then set up speartraps, bear traps, net snares in an advantageous position, as they know the terrain like the back of their hand & Wolf doesn’t

They would flush out Wolf with the Hellhounds & observe him, watching the way he fights & learning the weapons & gear he possesses, before calling the Hellhounds back towards their ambush location, knowing Wolf will track the Hellhounds

Wolf falls for the ambush one way or another because even if he doesn’t directly step into a trap, he doesn’t know he has 3 Super Predators to worry about, and they will get the jump on him

The Super Predators could send the Hellhounds to attack Wolf again while shooting Plasma at him from different directions, which he won’t be able to deal with

All 3 Super Predators could jump him up close from different directions in their ambush position, in which case Wolf is probably out of his depth

Even if he manages to kill all 3, he would get blown up when he tries to leave the planet either way.
Mr Black is by far the most powerful of the Trio yes, and Falconer is the weakest live-action Predator too yes, but Tracker isn’t a pushover. He was actually the Super Predator who stalked & subdued Royce before taking him to the Game Preserve Planet. He’s also bigger & more experienced than Falconer, and has the most potent Plasma Caster of the 3 Supes. Falconer may be pretty weak in the grand scheme of things, but as a team, he has his uses when working together with Mr Black & Tracker.
I mean, it’s kinda hard to quantify how the game mechanics would translate into a live-action adaptation. Wolf is honestly pretty rash & I can see him getting fucked up a couple times if he doesn’t pay attention, but seeing as Dutch’s team of Elite Predator Killers were effortlessly picked off by Cleopatra, who is a presumed Blooded Rank (below Wolf’s Rank), I could see the Fireteam getting minced from a lore standpoint.
Logically, no squad of humans is ever going to stand a chance in hell against an Elite Predator. But this is PHG, so honestly fuck knows. I’ve never really thought about this type of matchup.

I still can’t get past the fact that he removed his mask in what we would call a “TARGET RICH ENVIRONMENT” and marked himself with the same facehugger finger he used to mark Lex at the end of the movie. HE COULDVE FUCKING WAITED. It was still actively acidic when he marked her. Fuckin chud

Yeah exactly. Whenever I see people calling Celtic & Chopper dumb or anything along those lines I always have to point out that Scar is equally as dumb & inexperienced, if not dumber. It made absolutely zero sense for him to rush Blooding himself. If he had made it out of the Pyramid alive & survived the hunt, the Antarctic Clan Leader would’ve Blooded him anyway because he would’ve been watching the hunt through the recordings of their biomasks & would’ve known he had earned the Blooded Rank if he had killed Xenomorphs. It also makes no sense why the other Predators didn’t scan Scar’s body for Chestbursters after he had literally been inside a Pyramid infested with Xenomorphs when they are very clearly shown to have x-ray vision modes.
I guess you can attribute that to deliberate bad writing so that we could get a sequel with a Predalien, but it still hurts to think about & just get vexed at the stupidity of some things.
It’s almost like if the Predator & AVP universes were separate, the AVP Predators would have an astronomically lower IQ than the Yautja in the Predator universe.
Everything’s right here. But i would say that Wolf is a whole Lot better than bionic. (Not a whole Lot but you Will inderstand) Ik Wolf has less gear (btw I cannot accept that tbf) and worse specs. But he has one of the best plasma shots from the game along with scar, Cleo and bionic ofc (he also has a little bit more of HP ) assasin is also good to do combos attacking behind the Ft member backs and then throw the spear using downrange. But im probably saying that cos i had/have better results using Wolf. But Thats my opinion. Great list brother 🤝☺️

I do prefer using Wolf over Bionic in practice most of the time, but statistically, Bionic is better. Wolf is on par with Mr Black, and Mr Black isn’t really up there with the likes of Bionic, Scar, Cleo etc. Due to having more significant drawbacks.
Wolf has better Speed & overall slightly higher damage output potential than Bionic, but it’s not as significant a difference as the likes of Bionic having Stalker spec, most energy of any Predator class in the game, and more gear.

Yh, I only use bionic when Im playing with smart disc. But the thing is, I couldn’t get used to the ancient disc before the og one got nerfed. Also If I decide to use downrange & medic I wont be able to use protection. And play with a pred that has stalker and youre not using protection against a decent team Its almost a suicide imo.

As Bionic I just tend to use Large Pouch, Medic & either Modified Reserve or Protection. You don’t really necessarily need Down Range on him due to Stalker being the best spec. I still prefer Scar though. Scar is quite literally just slightly statistically better or equal to Bionic in every way besides energy.
If I’m going for a more specifically damage output oriented class, I’ll play either Celtic Assassin with Down Range or Wolf Assassin with Down Range though.
