Hello there!
So far I’ve enjoyed this game a lot.
However after the recent update there are some major issues that basically ruins the gameplay and fun overall of this otherwise very enjoyable game.
1st.
During gameplay versus other players, cloaking device is absolutely useless at this point. You are spotted too easy by the fire team and literally you may as well just stand and let them shoot you down. Because cloaking simply doesn’t do the trick, it’s meant to make you more terrifying and harder to engage, like having fireteam -work- to actually spot you, just as the predator at this moment has to work INCREDIBLY hard to even get a kill. It removes the fun.
2nd.
Before the updates, it was easy to join games and I joined with people using Epic games, Playstation and Steam accounts for the game. Now, I only get to join with other steam account users which increases the estimated wait time incredibly long, where as before there was no issues with that at all. I double checked and yes, I have the cross play, activated so I have to assume it’s some form of issue after recent update.
3rd.
We get 15 minutes to play a full game, for the fire team to complete their objectives and the predator to hunt down the team.
This is by no means a complaint, but it definitely is something to consider. There are times where fireteam has incredibly short missions with just 1-3 objectives, then exfil time.
Sometimes as predator it takes a small while to find the fireteam (because they play well which is cool.) But there is no fun being predator if a mission is so short, you don’t even get to hunt the fireteam, it forces you to just jump into the open and expose yourself to a hailing rain of bullets which no predator builds can withstand before downing entire fireteams. In other words, the short 1-3 objective missions, forces predator to engage in a rushing manner.
Now, I understand that this may sound like just complaining because things are hard ? No, not by a long shot. I’ve been doing pretty darn well and had fun, both as fireteam and predator a like. Amazingly fun and I love it and it’s why I took a step to make account here so I could offer my experience with some of these issues.
I hope that if anything these current issues I present are fixable or somehow improved on, particularly the one with joining games, that one is absolutely annoying and I admit, I do not like waiting 10-20 minutes on a game to start playing and then if doing so, play it when it seems broken in some aspects as mentioned.
So, I hope that the development team will look into these issues as well as other reports from fellow gamers of this community.
I also want to take a moment and thank, the developers for creating an entertaining game and giving us something from the franchise we all love and are passionate about, great work so far and I understand it is never easy to appeal people in general.
