So ive noticed that, in the public matches ive played, nothing feels like it does enough damage to the fireteam before having to retreat. Its not like they all have laser precision or mini guns either, most of the time its just assault rifles. That being said, i feel like damage dealt to ft should either be higher, or predator health needs to have a higher value. To go along with that, i think the wrist blades, although theyre always gonna be equipped, i think giving them better damage values would work wonders. Itd force predators to go in closer, and also put them at risk. Im not saying im a pro gamer and that my short comings are a product of the game’s faults, but it wasnt this hard a week ago.
Predator Damage and Health needs to be fixed
I just played a match the pred ran up to me I unloaded 30 shots from my ak we attack me with his wrist blades I blocked it then he hit second wind he ran I shot him dead and defused the bomb the rest of my team was across the map it was very confusing I felt cool as shit tho
Predator has the firefight disadvantage but the positioning advantage BY FAR. Change up your play style and you’ll be popping FT like water balloons with a dart
Thats the thing tho, they changed how the active camo works. If u stay still ur not perfectly invisible anymore and projectiles are way too easy to track. What do u run tho cus im curious
I am only playing FT and nothing is worse then a Predator that knows how to position and use leap well… You can’t hit when you don’t know where to shoot at.
Now I don’t run 4 man premades, I play alone or with a friend so that is where I am coming from.
Also the damage the predator does in close combat… Man… Just make sure the marine does NOT know you’re coming for him.
Now the game is very clear mathematics, your task is to pull out the entire supply of medicines that they have from the squad, since the PC is free and does a lot of damage, which the squad must take into account. I don’t think the melee meta is a good idea, you go to melee when the enemy is weakened, when it is time for the execution phase. If you rebuff a melee weapon, then a fight with a predator will be more like not sex with a blender, either you will pair a blade with your penis or you will cut a dick in the chest.
It seems to me that the only thing that a predator needs to improve is its disguise and the number of tools to work on the “distraction”, seriously? 4 portable speakers? Is that all you can offer a predator? I want to do sabotage and not yell at the detachment from 4 different sides without the possibility of picking up a snag.
So… can i ask what your preferred loadout is? Or perks anyway
Usually I take a cannon with nets and a bow / sword / gun. Perks - Adrenaline, Down range and cooling system.
The hunting net allows you to win exchanges against two, because you are able to beat one person while the second is freed from the network.
Cooling systems helps to cope with overload, when you overdo it using a PC, if you need a more approach … I will get the bow carefully so that my position is more difficult to unravel.

Yes, it is a scout or a hunter, if there are 4 players on the PC. The main point is, due to adrenaline, to move after each shot / strike and attack from the diametrically opposite side, because of this, the detachment is divided into a small circle, the essence is that everyone in this circle thinks that he has an ally behind him . I attack from the center of this circle in the back and retreat, finishing off the wounded from ranged weapons. Recently, for this purpose I began to take a spear, its damage when throwing is devastating.

Wristblades are fine and they’ve got higher single target damage than combistick swings. Very good considering they can be combined with an offhand weapon.
Your issue is that you can’t be reliant on melee because its too much risk for 0 reward.
You swing swing swing all your staminas gone swinging on one support, they syringe and 2 or 3 people light you up. You lose over half your hp for one syringe or you get parried and die and you’re like wtf i do no damage why do I have to swing four times.
Switch to a ranged playstyle and don’t string melee combos ever, pure noobtrap. That and everyones using half decent FT weapons now you get melted at melee range even by ps4 players.
I feel like this is more comparable to the release balance. Since then we’ve had a fairly militant group of console based roleplayers who pushed a balance agenda through the forums that Illfonic ate up. That’s pretty much the current BALANCING STRATEGY of this game and why a lot of people left.
Pretty sure half of the console players were beserker players with fearless, combistick only, and the skull paint before FT realized they could completely invalidate melee playstyles.
Originally zerks either got parried and died shanked to death by knives or they wiped everyone in 2 minutes which was cancer for the game either way. But Beserker’s current state is purely because no one knew what parrying was during release month and the PRO MELEE ZERKS have mostly left at this point. Now he gets exhausted swinging on one person and its just sad.
No, I’d say that all of the good Preds have left. Imagine swinging a weapon as a zerker. He’s honestly still the best class its just not worth getting into.
